The deck was silent for a while, until a distress beacon appeared on the screen, alerting the crew
It seemed old, possibly been going on for a long time now

The command crew of the Sensor deck passed the message along to the main command deck, where they inspected the origin of the signal. Where it came from, it's exact location, it's content, etc.
-
The signal came from a couple hundred miles away, from a gas giant, a station appeared to reside in its upper layers The signal itself was received on the main frequency, although it was hard to decode. It came from a research station named Ascension
-
more like millions of miles lol. This is space, after all.
Seeing as this was an unknown encounter, the ship couldn't risk carelessness. They sent two groups of Shock troopers, highly advanced droid infantry built to respond to any situation, each with a combat medic joining them.
-
The two groups arrived at the planet, taking a bit to locate and actually land within the station, since it was hidden Once inside, the main bay was dimly lit and falling apart, the lights themselves where buzzing in about of life Down the halls, the doors where locked in place, taking plasma cutters to get through them, as it seemed the place was low on power
-
The Shock Troopers moved down the corridors, their powerful local sensors able to detect lifeforms on board the station. If any was found, they would make a rescue attempt. If not, they would scour the data logs to see what had happened. The smaller shock troopers, who were wielding the fusion cutters, quickly brought down any door in their way.
-
Only one life form was detected in the station, deeper into it however They moved past the control room, stopping briefly to check on anything inside Data logs where found, telling of the research and what went on within the station; secret projects involving biologically engineered and artificially created life The main controls where found to, the backup power was running low as it seemed, and the main generators where offline
-
The engineering suite built into the Shock Troopers allowed them to boost the main generators back to life, if only at minimum power. But enough to keep the station afloat. They then move on to the labs, where the lifeform had been detected.
-
Several rooms where passed along the way, ranging from s mess hall, to a laboratory, an armory, training room, simulation room, and much more They eventually reached the lab where the life form was detected, as several stasis chamber came into view, tables and equipment for each of them The last one was still active, on the far end of the room, a single terminal was still linked to it, showing the information on the being inside
-
A shock trooper linked itself with the console, accessing the data.
-
A whole sheet of information appeared, logs and info on the being inside It seemed to be some form of human, although the DNA and genes had been heavily modified Female as well, Subject ID: XJ-9 https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/205919414/0/0/1

Since the Umbrella corporation was one of the founders of the Triumvirate, their unparalleled knowledge of bioengineering came in handy in assessing the threat this being posed. The Shock trooper began the release procedure to free the being from it's cold prison.
-
It hissed, slowly shutting down as eventually a mechanism pulled the walls up, revealing what seemed to be a human woman, red haired and with dis-colored eyes She was silent for a moment, before jerking into consciousness, breathing heavily as she looked around the room, eventually seeing the Shock troopers
-
They were also accompanied by medical personel, who approached her. Stood to her level, scanning her with a wrist device. "Is everything alright? You have been asleep for quite some time, it seems."
-
She doesn't answer, only replying with questions of her own "Who the hell are you?! Where the hell am I! Who the hell am I?!"
-
"Corporal Vance, Phalanx Triumvirate. I believe this is some sort of station floating around a gas giant. And you, as far as I know, were a living popsicle until now."
-
"She seems confused, dazed even, as a bit later the bands holding her in place clocked and slid back into the seat She tries to stand, only to end up falling over, after being in a stasis chamber for god knows how long
-
The man catches her before she could hit the floor. "I take it you've been there for a while."
-
"I don't know, how long was it...?" She stands back up, with they're help, she manages to stay upright this time
-
The corporal turns to the shock trooper that was plugged into the computer, awaiting an answer. Approximately one thousand and sixteen years, eight months, two days, six hours, thirty-four minutes and thirteen seconds.
-
Her face goes blank, not knowing what to say to that A computer flashes then, showing a message, possibly pre programmed Subject may experience memory loss, long periods in stasis chamber can cause this
-
The Shock trooper relays the info. "C'mon, we need to get you out of here. We'll download the data from the main computer and send it back to the Amaterasu, perhaps there's some info of your past."
-
She looks around one last time, then follows them out, stopping after a bit, looking into the armory She walks in, looking at a suit of armor and some weapons, picking one of them up eventually
-
"Hey, woah there. I suggest leaving those behind."
-
"Why? I feel like they're mine, I think" She sets the weapon down, looking at the armor
Basically my way of going "this is hers" since she has no memory as to who she was, besides basic urges or thought patterns
-
"You can bring them, but we'll be taking them for you. No offense, but we don't exactly know you, or trust you yet."
