Bought Taken king on 360 but won't transfer over to Xbox one??
So I bought taken king expansion on my 360 when it came out. I just bought a xbox one bought a used copy of destiny for the Xbox one cause the guy said I could transfer all my dlc to Xbox one. It shows all my stuff on my character but says I need expansion to use them since the taken king didn't transfer over. What should I do? Spend the money for the expansion again or is there a way to get it back?

TTK is exclusive to the console that it is downloaded on.

TTK is not supposed to transfer over like the other DLCs. The digital upgrade program specifically applies only to The Dark Below, House of Wolves, and the Expansion Pass (which covers both aforementioned DLCs).

I just had the same issue. The Dark Below and House of Wolves transfer over but not The Taken King. I pre-ordered the Collector's Edition on 360 because I thought it'd transfer over, but no dice. I ended up buying the Legendary Edition yesterday and don't have access to my pre-order or Collectors Edition items when I play on the One. In the end it's still worth it to me as the gameplay and graphics are fantastically better on the One. There's supposed to be exclusive content on the next gen platforms as well.
