I constantly hear that people say devils lair is impossible On nightfall.
I disagree. How hard is it for you? Can you solo it?
-
I enjoy Nightfalls and this is no exception.
-
Only hard part is the defend part at the beginning for this you just chill down by the cave. After this the walker and prime are easy
-
I gave up and teamed up under duress, I don't think its impossible but much harder than than is enjoyable.
-
I had problems in the first room. Only had time for 1 attempt. I could have used p&t more I guess. Plenty of synth. I was on the upper level when the invisible elder vandals spawned. I though there was 1 but there were two. Used my AR that I got last night instead of whipping out my arc HMG. That room is the hardest in the whole encounter IMO. I just dont want to spend much time because Im having a blast in IB lol.
-
Twice with a team and once solo... the most annoying part are the shanks and vandal snipers IMO.
-
Easy if you're a little careful and know what you're doing. Just gotta watch out for the seekers
-
Soloed it with 2 of my characters and once with a team.
-
Pretty easy for a bladedancer hunter. Arc nades take out captain shields with one hit. I solo'd it with a rare arc rocketlauncher, ice breaker, and a maxed legendary scout. Just have to take you time and play smart.
-
I completed it on all 3 characters in 1 1/2 hours with 2 man teams all 3 times. Super easy.
-
Soloed it as easy just took my time

3 RepliesWe did 3 nightfall runs with an average of 11 minutes I think. It's a piece of cake with the right weapons. Devil walker was dead on first drop, which was 2 seconds after immunity went away. We used: 3 x Patience and Time (maxed) 1 x Fatebringer 3 x random arc heavy weapons
-
Have the right weapons load out and it's a breeze. My setup was Fatebringer, Epitaph, and Thunderlord
-
2 RepliesAll it requires is a little patience and time.
-
The only tricky part is if you don't have the sniper to handle the Walker and have to get near that ridiculous splashy blast.
-
Pretty easy this week tbh archon priest or nexus are the tricky ones
-
This week I found it rather easy however, I didn't solo it. I had another 29 with me. I'm not saying neither of us got 0 downs, but we tore through it.
-
2 RepliesI reached my verdict....... and i found all of them....... GUILTY! The Punishment is!....... DEATH BY SHOTGUN TO THE FACE!
-
More annoying than anything

2 RepliesEdited by SALESJUNKY87: 11/20/2014 11:51:25 PMBest way when fighting the main boss (prime) to hide under the walkway , soon as you go into the open area where is he take the room on the left and go down the stairs , no enemies come down there underneath.
-
3 RepliesIt all depends on your weapons that match the burn modifier for the week. This week for example, if you have a maxed ARC sniper and heavy then it really is not that difficult. This could be said of any nightfall with a burn modifier on, but even more so with this strike since their is a bunch of enemies with ARC shields that make those weapons even more effective.
-
First 2 are easy. Sepicks go upstairs and jump int room with glass panels, you can't shoot out of them but creep forward and you can then step back once you get agro
-
If you found it hard you probably play like Leeroy. Fatebringer, Epitaph, and Thunderlord. Lol'd my way to victory. Died a few times though.
-
I wouldn't say hard, but definitely harder than before. Just seemed like enemies had more life is all.
-
I soloed it, nightfall and 28 weekly, it was harder with the last patch but still doable.
-
One I saw that it was Devils Lair and Arc Burn I was like "shit that's kind of a tough nightfall..." then I thought about it for a minute and was like "wait a minute, there's a semi cheese spot in every darkness encounter, I have patience and time, arc purifier, and a few rare rocket launchers with tracking and cluster bombs on explosion. Cake." Died once during nightfall due to my own mistake of underestimating explosive range on shock grenades the dregs throw. I ended up getting thunderlord, pretty excited since I said all day that's all I wanted. In the weekly 28 I joined a friend who was at the first part of the mesh generator. Him and and his other buddy were trying to go balls to the wall and stay by the generator. Other dude was a 27, they told me they kept having to revive each other and self revive. I got there and was like, "silly kids....come with me...don't you know? You need to have the patience and time for this part?!" Then proceeded to pop heads, I was surprised as I don't have it leveled up fully. Got to the tank, threw a titan bubble with weapons of life near the right corner, took out snipers, rocked the tank pretty quick, then on to septiks. Cleared the goons, ran to the building to the left and used windows and little walkway to take down septiks. Easier than I had originally thought

4 RepliesDifficult but not impossible, the adds at Sepiks were the biggest pain in the ass
