Any benefit to doing the raid multiple times in the same week?
Anybody know if there is ANY benefit at all to doing the raid (normal difficulty) multiple times within the same week? For example, do chests still appear? Can I still gain xp or get legendary drops?

2 RepliesYou can do the raid twice a week per character. For instance, i have a warlock and a titan. I can do the normal raid on both and then the hard raid on both. Thus i can do it four times a week. Keep in mind you can only get the chests once per character. So if i use my warlock on normal and open all the chests, i can't get loot from them on the hard raid. Same goes for titan. There is only one chest that gives double loot for normal and hard, all the rest can only be opened once.

I do the raid 3 times a week. 1X Hunter - Normal 1X Titan - Hard 1X Warlock - Hard And i prefer hard mode, because it has double drops (if only ran on hard) so i still need raid gear for all of them, but I have a higher chance of getting what I need. And i get oodles of green engrams dropped hahaha

I've made 2 characters, and play through the raid twice a week, and just switch/swap items as need be :) you can get two playthroughs (4th you count hard mode) all with loot drops

2 RepliesYou will still gain exp but that's it. You can do one hard and one normal in a week and get rewards.
