Well in all honesty I feel like in order for the level advantage system to work you would need a SIGNIFICANT difference from a lvl 14 to a lvl+29, but even with that skill level really is the key essential component in multiplayers always has been always will. That's why a lvl 4 can dominate in an Iron banner match. I feel like when we are pushed to rely on level and gear difference then we sort of are ignoring the key elements of just plain skill (all in all its good in theory but maybe not so much when executed) just my opinion though. :)
now for the less on topic but still relevant bit.
Then there is the motivation behind doing well in a match I mean I came in second to last in one of my previous games and got 2 blue engrams and the rest of the team (that actually did the work) got squat, I ended up feeling as though I had unjustly stolen something from them and decided to leave that group to find another. Then there are these moments were I know my team is going to lose cause there is no communication of cohesion in the team so I no longer care about being first in my squad, instead I think,
" well it doesn't matter"
the very fact that I know that no matter how hard I try that it doesn't matter and the guy who has been ignoring objectives or just trolling is just as likely to end up with better loot while I get nothing is detrimental to my motivation when playing.
