Ship battles in destiny?
I was thinking if destiny is going to have ship battles, just like what halo reach had. Any thoughts?

i would love to have this in the game kind of like srl because the ships have like guns on them so it wouldnt make sense if bungie didnt use them

They should have some sort of Galaga like game to play while in the loading screen

It would be cool to fly to the different planets fighting Fallen on the way - the further the planet, the longer the journey (2 mins to Moon, 5 mins to Venus/Mars). Plus, a choice to fly your own ship or crew one ship with 2/3 players for gun turret/360 degree fire. Can't be that hard to implement and can act as the loading screen too!

1 ReplyEdited by Rocko : 8/9/2014 9:05:05 AMoh please yes! on the PS2 my favourite activity was space-battles from cockpit-view out in Mace Griffin: Bounty Hunter - or at least from 3'rd person view out in a bazzilion different Star Wars games. but on the PS3 apparently every developer i came across was too lazy to undertake the comparatively easy creation of a few empty 3 dimensional "space" map "sky"box-setups, where you can move and shoot using a "space-ship character-model" - not even just for a cheap additional awesomeness on top of the rest of their Sci-Fi games gameplay. how friggin' epic it would be if it would finally going to happen again AFTER ALL THOSE YEARS I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR IT!

1 ReplyBungie needs to mix that genre into destiny as well. Space Sims are making a comeback, and destiny can capitalize on that if not for the sequel. MP would be awesome along side FPS MP.

I thought bungie stated a while back that theyre making an FPS not a space sim... So i doubt any ship flight will be in destiny. Maybe the sequel though
