Halo 4 vs. Killzone 3 Graphics

KZ is too pixelated, it's more vibrant, but Halo's graphics seem to mix together a lot better. [Edited on 10.26.2012 9:24 PM PDT]

While Killzone 3's graphics were a treat the lighting in a lot of the game was hard on the eyes. I'd personally have to say that Halo 4's look better now.

Killzone has better graphics technically (duh, PS3), but the art style there is WTF and hurts my eyes so I choose H4.

Any PS3 exclusive will look better, and Killzone 3 is no different. They go for graphical superiority, and that's mainly for games where you want a great single player experience. No Halo game has ever really been graphically amazing and that's because gameplay is what they really had in mind, building great multiplayer experiences. The real comparison has to be a game for both platforms. But honestly, for most gamers, graphics don't really mean much anymore because multiplayer is where they will live. Unless it's something like a game from Bethesda. [Edited on 10.26.2012 5:14 PM PDT]

What has always been good about Halo is the simple graphics that they make look really good. I hate games that have excessive detail that makes the graphics look worse.

Well, Killzone, but because it's on the PS3. The graphics card is newer compared to the Xbox. Frankly, I think it's cool that 343 managed to push the system that far.

KZ3's is too sharp. It's going for the realism, which is badass and I fully support, but the edges are too sharp and hard on the eyes. Harsh colors as well - in that picture anyway. Halo 4's smoothness is really appealing to me and I have to say it is better.
