We all hope that a Title Update can fix these: http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=54796537&postRepeater1-p=1

Bungie's asking the same thing.
Posted by: WyvernFlare A title update is for fixing bugs, glitches and other issues that can impede gameplay. A title update won't fix anything like bloom, armour lock etc. because they are not glitched. Things like frosting are usually player caused, not game caused. Also seeing as Bungie or whoever are updating the game everyweek, they do not need to have title update. It should also be noted that the Noble map pack came with an update with it. Most people were unaware though.
Explain, because i thought it was just new achievements and maps, no update. So yes, i am one of those unaware (don't flame). If you mean a playlist update, then that's common knowledge. A DLC playlist was created and the new maps were integrated within most of the other playlists. [Edited on 02.26.2011 6:49 AM PST]

Ohhhh. Yeah see Halo Reach is my first and pretty much only Halo game so I didn't experience the old ones. I am actually pretty new to internet connected consoles since I've been stuck in the world of PC games for the past 10 years. That would be hardcoreballs awesome if we got a title update, so long as it was actually done right. I don't often -blam!- on the forums about Reach's bad points, but I would still welcome a refinement.

A magical bullet that fixes everything wrong with Reach (The Arena, Bloom, AL, no ranks, Melee system/bleed through shields, weapon buffs etc.). However, everyone keeps bugging Bungie about it, when they should be talking to 343 about it. Bungie can do playlist updates and fixes but 343 owns Halo now. Sure they are doing stuff now, but eventually, Bungie can and will move on from Reach. Better luck next time people. [Edited on 02.26.2011 6:38 AM PST]

A major update that changes core mechanics in the game. An example is when the melee system was changed in H3, and they also added per-playlist exp, among other things. Everyone is waiting on the apparently non-existent title update for Reach, since you know, the game is terrible.
