The game is absolute cancer at this stage
Don’t play much anymore. Just signed on, one game of PvP, some cheating, emoting pos at the top of the leaderboard, connections are worse than the standard 20 years ago, crossplay is even worse.
I mean, they abandoned the game and this cheater wasteland held together by ancient p2p servers is what’s left. Still, absolutely fascinating how horrible a game can feel.
And it blows my mind how people buy and play Marathon … absolutely crazy to me.

Its a ongoing joke how full of ahit these same guys are. Hell then you even have some dont even play at a level where cheating is most prominent yet claim bla blah a blah. 3rd party retailers have sold millions of each and thats not even counting the latest scumbag controllers hitting the market. No one wants to pony up to deal with the problem and in the end most shooters are all suffering.

2 RepliesIf you are tired of cheaters derailing games, play on console. Cheats are present, but they are not nearly as impactful as on PC, and you likely won't even notice. It is $500 for a (mostly cheat-free) console. Best you're gonna get (that goes for any game). Most games give the option of turning cross-play off, and if a game doesn't offer that option, you can disable cross-plat on the console itself.
