So i know the red praxis blade is a random drop from invading but is there a way to increase the odds of getting it and do i have to have the praxis blade equipped for it to drop?

Edited by Infamous067: 12/20/2025 3:07:02 PMNope, all you gotta do is keep playing. I got mine after 50+ invasions. I wish bungie would have just made it a quest for all the crystals instead of random drops. It should have a quest where you get it after 15 invasions.

Will trade my red crystal for a magenta

I just got Red crystal it took about 20 invasions, all i did, if it was 3 v 1 when you die just revive on 3 seconds left, if you don't want the toxic players, having to hold each others hand to get easy kills, it will take you to cargo bay, and hope it drops, i just stood there because i new straight away i was out numbered, so f*** it, let them kill you, and watch them get annoyed because you won't revive so f***ing funny lmfao. Hope it helps you.👍

1 ReplyI "think" you can increase your drop rate by wagering more deathmarks. But with all things rng there's no way to verify if that's true or not.

You get increased drop chances the less you play - I -blam!- you not.

2 RepliesI seen people's saying it can drop from killing guardians and when you dunk enemy motes after the invasion but im not sure because peoples can say anything online What i did is when i got 1v1 i let the enemy kill me and when i got 1v3 i just killed myself to speed up the process plus i realised killing other guardians in 1v3 isn't fun but i finally got the red crystal so no more invasion

I don't think you need it equipped, but I'm not sure. I had mine equipped when it dropped for me. I'm also not sure if wagered death marks increase chances of it. Personally, I never wagered more than 1 at a time and got it a match or 2 before I got the title. I was winning most of my invasions though.

I can only go by my and my friends' experiences: It seems that winning invasions or at least getting kills and collecting crests does increase the drop chance. We all got our red crystal in under 20 invasions but we won most of our invasions. I never had the blade equipped for invasions so that does not seem to influence the drop chance.

1 ReplyNot that I know of, it randomely dropped for me in the same match as the one I got the emblem for 100 pts in.
-
I can only confirm one thing, which is that you don't have to have the Blade equipped for it to drop; it dropped for me with the Blade in my inventory, but Outbreak was actually in the slot. I only had a single Deathmark Wager, but I don't know if more Wagered increases the odds in any way.

Good luck on it. I don’t think I have the drive for a Buried Bloodlines 2.0 RNG chase. I can’t even get the exotic contract to drop for the yellow blade.
So i know the red praxis blade is a random drop from invading but is there a way to increase the odds of getting it and do i have to have the praxis blade equipped for it to drop?
Mine dropped at around 45-50 invasions…not sure if there’s any way other than a roll of the RNG dice…can’t remember if I had mine on all the time, though…it shouldn’t matter one way or another?! Keep at it…it will drop sooner or later! 👈 Cheers! 🖖👻 MTFBWY

I did like 30 invades then I did 3 or 4 max wager invades and got it.

Play more.

Take a break. Like the other guy said, a week or two will give you a drop rate boost. They added this mechanic years ago and never mentioned it, it’s just to hook returning players but they don’t want their no lifers who run 50+ clears to know about it lol

Short answer: no. Long answer: nope.

Definitely random, I did not have the blade equipped, and I got mine on an invasion where I got six points with no deaths, probably around my 10th invasion or so.
