Stuck at Rank 5, Trade-Off Challenge Modifiers Guardian Rank Objective Bugged?
Howdy. So I have been trying to complete the "Trade-Off Challenge Modifier" Guardian Rank Objective, and I have done several activities with a Trade-Off Modifier active with none of them counting towards its completion.
I dont know if its bugged, or if its because my Power level is too low for it to count. If its the former, then hopefully Bungie sees this and changes this. Kinda stinks when I cant be better tier loot since its tied to Guardian Rank.
If its the ladder, that would be okay, but the language needs to be more direct, a la "You need to be 300 power to complete this challenge" as to not confuse people who can do an activity with those modifiers active with a friend who is 300+
If there are any fixes the community knows, that would be great!

3 RepliesI'm currently having this issue as well. Both my girlfriend and I are Rank 5, with all other objectives complete aside from "Complete a Portal activity with a Trade-Off modifier active". So, we have tried two different activities from the Fireteam Ops playlist, customized to have a Trade-Off modifier enabled. (Master(? Whichever difficulty has 300 for the LL) (Trade-Off "shields higger—but you explode when they break"). We tried this on two separate maps. One time, we turned on the Trade-Off and a bunch of buffs. The second time, we only turned on the Trade-Off. Both times we completed the mission, but the activity did not mark our progression as complete. Is this issue related to the Call To Arms event? That seems unlikely since OP here posted this back in August, but perhaps so. 🤷🏻 This is really frustrating. PS. If you want us to share a video of the objective not completing... That requires us to record the entirety of a gameplay session. Can't you just look at our accounts and see our play history? The app shows which activities I've done, though it does not show the modifiers which were active. Surely support's end can see, though? I'll try attaching a relevant screenshot or two momentarily.
