Why was Stasis shatter removed from effects that worked on Unstoppable Champions?

Was that ever advertised? I found out by doing a Master Whisper mission. I thought it was bugged, but no, it was taken out of the adjectives that work. Why was this decision made?

  • They wanted to make it so weapons can't stun two different champions, although they kind of failed at this because my auto can apply scorched and ignitions to stun unstoppables and it has the rapid overload perk, seems like a misguided effort

  • They wanted to nerf Chill Clip but, as usual, didn't think it through and decided to just make Stasis even worse than it already is. It's the Bungie Way.

      • They mentioned it a few times. I forgot the reason but if I remember they didn't like how slow lead into freeze giving a single source essentially 2 but instead of either keeping it the same or just adding a new verb for stasis to use in order to get unstoppable they just cut out an entire anti champion effect.

      • It was realistically to nerf the stasis rocket side arm (the name i can't spell so I won't), it could basically stun all champion types (if side arms had barrier champion mode in the artifact). A very short sighted change.
