Verity shouldn’t be an encounter

This is not a it’s to hard thread I’m just saying not many can do this encounter if you have 3 people that know how to dissect and 3 that don’t and the 3 that can get pulled in then the encounter is over it’s such a stress but I’m just saying it should be taken out of the raid

  • The other three people should learn how to do the encounter. I feel like people shouldn’t expect to succeed in a raid if they don’t know what they are doing. The whole point is mastery and cooperation, and both are eliminated if people don’t know what they are doing.

  • I’d give it a try with the calculator someone made. I could do the opening move but might mess up the rest from stress. But I think the major headache would be trying to remember everyone’s unique outfit and ghost. I’d go crazy if I only LFG’d that

  • Teach the other 3 how to dissect. You're a team working together, not at opposition. If you're in a random lfg, find a new lfg if they fail to listen. There are people who do vog that still don't understand how the gatekeeper encounter works. Some simply can't learn.

    You can also help them do it outside while you are inside as long as they tell you what they have outside. Someone also made a calculator to give you the instruction on what to do. Funny enough, Verity was added during the delay of Final Shape.

      Remember Encounters like Variety are designed from the ground up to slow down professional raiders to extend the world's first race as long as possible That 15 minutes of slightly increased Twitch fame is worth more to Bungie than making an accessible activity for the rest of the community Next raid will be RON easy , because they always apply the loudest feedback to the next raid, Vog was too complicated, Crota was too easy , Kings Fall and Oryxs 5 phase damage phases you had to slog through 4 times, with 0 margin of error , then Wrath, raid perfected

      • I've accepted that I can't learn the encounter, no matter how I try, I just can't seem to get the hang of it, and I don't want to be a detriment to my team. People have tried explaining it, but it's so much information to process it's like trying to drink from a firehose, as someone once put it. However I don't think it should be removed. It's obviously doable, but I know I'm not cut out for it. Sometimes you just gotta know your limits.

          • The 3 that don't know how to do the encounter should probably just learn how to do the encounter. "If half my team doesn't know how to do the mechanic and the get tasked with doing the mechanic, we fail, and therefore the whole encounter should be removed." That's hilarious.

          • You can have two people that don’t know how to dissect stand at the front of the room before people are pulled and those two are guaranteed to go in solo rooms each time, so you’ll never have all 3 people who know how to dissect in solo rooms. If only one person knows how to dissect and they get pulled, they can just die immediately in the solo room And someone else will replace them in there. This raid isn’t difficult, you just can’t have half the raid be add clearers and get carried like in every other raid.

            • Everybody on the team should know all the mechanics though. If that's not the case it's not the encounters fault. Even if you'd have 3 people that really don't get it. You could just tell them what to bank where.
