Unable to complete Alone in the Dark quest step 5
Stuck at step 5 of Alone in the Dark questline. Tried abandoning quest and redoing 6-8 times. The Cyst will not activate at the location. Completed all other Final Shape content and missed out on deepsight rewards and the ability to get new weapons. Tried making a ticket but support told me they cannot help me.
I paid money for this? What do I do?

you need to jump into those bubbles while firing to pop them typical blight stuff but this time they've made them float in the air, so you have to awkwardly fire while jumping

1 ReplySame. Bird won’t move. Blights inverted but every time I shoot the core to remove them, they instantly spawn back in. Spent hours trying to figure this out. Still stuck.

Does Bungie have an update on this? I to cannot complete this quest line, the bird is there, but cannot start the Cyst.

Have you found all of Micah-10's ghosts? When what you described happened to me I went back to Micah picked up another find ghost quest and thereafter more birds appeared and I could switch cyst to the final one's I needed. Alone in the dark is not strictly needed for the triumph/seasonal milestone.

Are you in the know about how cysts work? There are six cysts, but only three sets of birds, the game is supposed to guide you to the correct bird to invert the cyst but sometimes it doesn’t.
