All six cyst "Lost Encryption" bits not appearing
I'm missing ALL (6) machinery/stockpile/debris for me to search them to get the Lost encryption Bits in all CYST location. I have acquired all Region chest in the 3 zones (total of 9) in Consumables I have 9 Lost Encryption Bits.
Every time I go in any CYST location, there is no machinery on the ground where it should be. So it's impossible for me to search them since they're not there. My friend who I played all these quests with and is a great player cannot research a reason they are missing. He has all of them.
This attached video shows, Pale Heart map, showing all regional chests opened, inventory showing the encryption bits collected, and a trip into a cyst location where the debris should be.

We went to the exact spot where it should be, where we should be able to search. In the video he is shooting right where it should be. Nothing.
The things we've tried:
1. Reloading in the public zone bind to the CYST I tried
2. Closing the game and restarting it.
3. Abandoning the Alone in the Dark quest and take it back from a QUEST ARCHIVE terminal.
4. Switching the Cyst bird in a location and go to that cyst instead. Done that in the 3 zones now back and forth.
5. Join my friend with another class that didn't finished the campaign. (Worked for some) but didn't for me.
6. Going in them solo. While my friend is watching my shared screen to make sure I'm in the right spot.
No Machinery to search in ALL (6) CYST locations.
Posts we have found say they are missing one. I'm missing all 6 from CYST locations.
All help/suggestions appreciated. Especially getting the program fixed.

Im having this same issue, I went through all six things you did to fix it and I still cant get the bits.

This is happening now with one of my clan mates. He’s missing two and has tried everything. Solo runs, repeating the cysts, checking before and after engaging the ghost. Nothing works. Hopefully Bungie will look into this issue again and finally fix it. If the issue was that players were getting double bits or some other advantage, then it WOULD be fixed already!

Tuesday June 25 update has fixed this problem. Ran a cyst mission, found debris and received a bit! Many Thanks!

1 ReplyA friend of mine is experiencing the same problem. No machinery in all six locations also. Sounds like Bungie has another glitch to fix.

I'm having the same issue. ran through all the cyst like 3 times and still nothing

2 RepliesWhat I had to do was rerun the cyst...HOWEVER, I checked for the debris BEFORE "helping/recovering" the lost ghost...when I did this, I found the last one I needed.
