17th Mote of Light not dropping
I wanted to inquire if getting the 17th Mote of Light is still bugged? I read that it was fixed but it seems not to be. I played overthrow in each area the impasse, the Bloom and the Landing multiple times only to Not have any Motes drop after beating each Boss . Obviously i cant upgrade and get the Khvostov 7G-02 Exotic Auto Rifle without the last Mote

I am having the same issue, I have tried to kill that taken meatball servitor boss in the blooming 10+ times and still I haven't gotten the final mote of light needed to get my Khovostov, I have tried it in single player, co-op, and just about every way possible and I have even tried using the fix someone suggested on Reddit to zero results. I am effectively soft locked in terms of getting it since the mote of light never drops, I have spent so much time trying to get the Khovostov just to be completely unable to get it right at the end due to Bungie's spaghetti code (I'm sure there is a spaghetti and meatball joke in there somewhere) I even checked my triumphs and it said that I had not killed the boss even after countless times where I have killed them. I can only pray that Bungie addresses this issue soon otherwise I have effectively wasted almost a week trying to get this damn rifle.

3 RepliesSame here, except for the fact I can't get anything other than the meatball to spawn in the blooming. I've tried it multiples times, across 2 characters, over the past couple of days, and keep just getting the meatball. So, I can't even confirm if I'm like you guys, or if I've killed all 3 bosses (I can't remember if I did last week, I know I did the ogre for sure).

1 ReplyI am having the same issue. I have systematically rekilled all nine bosses checking their different names to make sure I got each one. I search the entire kill area to make sure there isn’t a more on the ground. I have collected all of the travelers and placed them on the pillars. Still 16/17 motes.

3 RepliesIve been having this issue since they fixed the servitor boss. Triumph says ive killed every boss, I have all the mini travelers and im still at 16 motes

If you haven’t acquired all of the Motes of Light yet, make sure you’ve collected and placed all Visions of the Traveler as well as having defeated all Overthrow bosses in each area. If you’re only missing the defeat of the Taken Servitor boss, we suggest you try to eliminate it a couple times, making sure to return to Orbit between attempts. Please note, we’re currently addressing an issue where the triumphs tracking the defeat of Overthrow bosses are not working as intended. Therefore, please don’t rely on these Triumphs as confirmation of your successful defeat of all unique Overthrow bosses.

Even went back killed all three bosses in each overthrow zone solo still nothing. Might have to kill the corrupted Servitor boss in the blooming multiple times but still I’m at an impasse rn. Sucks seeing everyone with khvostov enjoying it and me being locked out of it. Hope this gets resolved soon but I know there are other more pressing problems. So I won’t hold my breath for too long. (Edit)Triumph said I completed all the traveler balls was missing one🫠

Try doing the middle location(the one with the tree) again for the taken meatball
