It would appear that recent changes to Twitter have made it unusable if not logged in to Twitter. None of the posts are actually time ordered, and recent posts are not available. I feel like I am being forced into having an account on Twitter to get Bungie updates, and I hate it.
I do not have a Twitter account, and I do not want a Twitter account.
P.s. if Bungie is paying for this service then Twitter is failing you.

I find that companies who don’t use their own communication tools to deliver information to their patrons have already failed. It’s been failing since. Bwahahahahahaha!!! Welcome to hollowness!
-
8 RepliesI know. Its wild right? If only they had a site or forum of their own developed specifically to communicate and streamline all things related to their product, that they could communicate all updates, TWAB or not on... It takes a special kind of idiot, or group of them to spend money, effort and time developing an app specifically for all things related to a game they develop, to never use it. They wonder why money is so tight, then we have this here, and all this overpriced merchandise that had to have cost a fortune to produce. Gee, what could be the issue? I can't imagine most people are careless enough to spend all that money on Bungie merchandise beyond the game itself.

I don't know why Bungie and so many other companies only post these updates at ONE place. It's not that they should stop using twitterr. They should just use multiple platforms.
-
Love this post. I can no longer use Twitter due to issues with 2-step verification and weirdly being signed out and due to Twitter support not getting back in touch with me shows just how trash Twitter really is. I don’t see why bungie couldn’t use Facebook, instagram places like that to post to.
-
So far this post has restored a lot of faith I lost for this community. Not one stupid, arbitrary defense for how utterly dumb it is, that the best way to find up to date info concerning the game, is on an external site.
-
Stop using EXCLUSIVELY Twitter.
-
3 RepliesIt’s absolutely wild to me that bungie hasn’t made a Notification Center IN GAME and on their OWN app to let people know what’s going on.
-
3 RepliesThey already post all updates on multi platforms including on this website. Please stop bringing your petty distain for certain social media platforms to the game feedback forum. Thanks.
-
2 RepliesThis!!! What's the point of having your own website if you aren't going to post important information there? Bungie even has "we are experiencing service issues" post on its main page for the app. However it stops mid sentence, doesn't say what the issue is, and when you click it, it takes you to a trouble shoot screen instead of a status update!?!? Bungie, your game is experiencing MAJOR issues. People are having their cheaters DELETED. This is NOT the time to go radio silent or just post some BS on X. Get on your OWN FREAKING SITE and tell people what is going on. Then go to the forums and PIN IT to the top of the page! The only status update I saw was a link back to Twitter/X. That is inexcusable. PUT YOUR INFO ON YOUR SITE.

Edited by MagicalTaco117: 3/24/2024 3:25:18 PMThe only reason I even made a (why did it censor the name of the site) account was BECAUSE Bungle doesn’t post their information here and the only place that they seem to bother posting anything related to the game is on that cancerous platform
-
3 RepliesRegardless of how one feels about x/Twitter…, major announcements should be posted…, AND pinned here…, so they don’t get buried. There should be one primary place we go to check on Bungie’s status…, and it should be here. Nuff said.

2 RepliesEdited by COMBATICUS: 3/23/2024 7:00:57 AMLook how long they took to add LFG into the game, lol. They thrive on stuff like this. They prefer you going through site after site rather than something on their app or in-game. Most games now a days post their updates and announcements in THE GAME. I guess content is too hard. They can't over deliver, and they cant put a simple announcement in-game or on their app. Man, everything is so tough for bungie 😒

What’s twitter?
-
Being, shall we say NOT a fan ow Twits, err Twitter, err X (and morons claim Elon is smart???) I often don't see these updates till hours have passed, usually the next day. Not because shun my phone or anything but because well NOT the best service possible! You know what would work? What if Bungo had a dedicated website and servers and people joined said services and then get updates from the official servers. Hmmm, never mind, we know the history of Bungo, servers, and communicating!

5 Replies☝️🤓Excuse me, sir, but according to my calculations, the correct name is X, not Twitter. Please edit your post, and change the name accordingly. ☝️🤓

4 RepliesI mean discord exists Usually one of the channels throws in twitter posts so you can tell when it is happening
-
What is crazy is they have their own platform they could post it RIGHT HERE!

Guardian, Archon Of LightArchon Priest Of House Light - old
It's not like they have a dedicated app that only D2 players use they could make announcements on -
3 RepliesYou are asking too much chief. It only took bungie 9 years to post maintenance messages in their own forum.
-
Twitter bad. Yeah, that's a message. I think we can all get behind
-
We are listening. Bungie management.
-
Or how about they use both, or even more, the more info across different platforms, the better
-
full agree. never liked twitter at all and its just not good. they need to use another way to do it.
-
4 RepliesThey do post in the forum but it gets buried if no one up votes it.
-
8 RepliesYou don't like X then what is another option? It is way better when you give feed back to not only tell them what and why but also have an alternative. What other social media platform that the vast majority of the population subscribes to that they can use to put updates out. Facebook? IG? TikTok? You should also realize that you are in the minority here so your suggestion has to be better than current option being used which is 'X'
-
Suggestion. Turn on Twitter notifications. Should help, guardian.
