Artifice armor in comp is a W

Have to see what the drop rate is, it'll be hard to beat the high stat armor you currently have .

1 ReplyI agree...kinda. It's nice for people who don't have any. It still doesn't give me a reason to ditch what I already have and I'm pretty sure they aren't new armor models, both of which kinda suck. But for those with nothing yet in the artifice department, it is in fact a W.

2 RepliesWhilst adding more rewards to an activity is always a plus. You do have to remember how horrible the drop rate is for activities. Now unless they are a guaranteed drop after reaching a certain rank, you might as well farm dungeons. And that is the biggest counter to this. It will be way easier to farm a dungeon for armor than it will be in comp. Not only that but all of you who plays these more endgame activities and or higher tier pvp, already have artifice armor pieces. I don't see how adding artifice will make you overlook the problems that comp or just pvp in general has.

You can get perfect build seasonal armour very very easily This is for PvP players, who don't need artifice armour, & it's bungie so it'll be 1 drop every 25 games & take months to get a full set, probably drop with 60 rolls too. It's also more old ugly armour that's already in the game. This company is so limited it's actually scary

1 ReplyI like the idea but the minimum rank is gold 3. I was on my way to it until I hit the ole “set the charge” game 3 times in a row and my lfg team lost all 3 and I went backwards😡

1 ReplyLet’s see if the armors pieces drop at 68 base or if they are all 62 base. Could be pointless if the base stats are not great. I hate to be that guy but I’ll be happy when I see it be a real benefit.

If you look at the requirements to get a single drop you'll realize that the only realistic chance you'll have of farming a set with good stats is with a three person fire team with skill. If you have that, you already have artifice armor. They've also done nothing to actually make comp fun... So there is that My guess is that you and most other daydreamers will play a few games and realize it's not worth it. Pvp needs an entire rework that will actually make pvp appealing to players of all skill levels. D1 had that, yet this new crew of the slacker generation insists on trying to reinvent the wheel instead of just going back to when pvp actually worked.

7 RepliesMaybe when Artifice armor was first released...yet that was 2-3 Years ago players have been asking for that. 3 Years later..with a good estimate that i believe about 92% of the entire population has Artifice Armor already. Might even get #### rolls like what happend in Duality.

2 RepliesI don't see it as a W. It's a little too late, plus most probably have these artifice gears already from running other activities. They are adding things and changing w.e they think it'll help, to bring their numbers back up. Honestly, pvp will be as dead as it is now (population), or players will complain that it's too much gunplay and will eventually abandon it. Pvp needs better servers, anti-cheat, and few more maps and some tlc lol.
