The star crossed mission is the worst
I hate everything about it. Boring beyond belief.

I watched Esoterrick's video to get an Idea of the mechanics and build he used. I'm definitely not anywhere near that skilled. I used his fusion rifle pick, I used Blowout rocket launcher cause its got vorpal and tracking with the boss spec and kept switching up primaries and ranged as I needed them. I'm not an overly skilled player for me the quest is a slog and I have yet to complete it solo on normal. I'm going to try LFG for the first time just so I can continue with the season story. For a player like me the quest is definitely above my skill set.

Boring is what you get when people complain about missions like Avalon. But hey, at least the black garden is pretty.

I love it personally,it’s really fun and the lore behind it is fun,it has simple mechanics that even a smooth brain like me can enjoy.

I like it, we could have no seasonal exotic quest. We should just be thankful the game is still around. It may not be around much longer.

If you are running with the right team, you might get access to one or more chests during this run. Afterward you can go in solo on Normal to access all or any other secret chests for the perks. You have to complete about half the mission to access all the chests and then you can leave.

I had all 4 of the catalyst quest in my inventory, and did it all at once. Completely done with activity now.

I mean it's the black garden so it LOOKS amazing. It's just a snoozefest mechanically. Wouldn't say I hate everything about it but it's definitely disappointing compared to Avalon.

I liked it because it’s in the Black Garden, isn’t too long, and despite the absurd final boss fight it could be cheesed for the catalysts before they fixed it. Also the weapon is really fun.

Yeah, its kind of short, with no time pressure and hardly any enemies , I thought the Hydra was just the first encounter , I was dissapointed that was it But its ok Hope the next exotic mission is more substantial -

I think the mission is fine, but I can see why people dislike it. It's a step-up in difficulty from basic story content and that upsets the buildless double-primary warriors, but it doesn't have quite the same quality, mystery or urgency as other Exotic missions.

11 RepliesIt's certainly no Presage. But I agree, at no point did I ever think that any part was enjoyable or would want to repeat it. Yet they're forcing us to do so over again if you want the bow's multi-part catalyst. That they didn't scale the game to the number of players is another fail.
