Obviously anyone that prefers d2 can stick with that game. I would love to see destiny 1 remastered and released on PC. I can only imagine the amount of old players that would come back for this. NovemberHotel has a great video comparing this idea to WoW classic. Something like that could be really cool.
This year is the 10th anniversary of Destiny.
I already know this post is gonna get slammed by D2 lovers that don’t appreciate where their addiction came from but a man can dream I guess.
Anyone else interested to see this?

They won't do it due to zero profit. And most likely it will not even pay off the cost of porting the game to PC

D2 lovers that don’t appreciate where their addiction came from
The D1 raids we got are imo incredibly boring for the most part and that is with enhanced mechanics. Neomuna lost sectors have more depth to them. 2 basic abilities must have felt amazing (...). You can keep your console fake-shooter, thank you.

4 RepliesLots interested, but between the time and effort required, plus it possibly further dividing the player base, it's not happening. Not anytime soon at least. They needed an extra 4 months just to make TFS. I don't think they have a surplus of people, money, or time to shift any amount of focus to this, as cool as it would be.

1 ReplyNever played it but then I don't have a console that can run it and also generally dislike FPS games on controller, so it is unlikely that I will ever play it. So if it ever became playable on PC then I certainly would try it, but from what I could tell from videos and streams there is enough difference from D2 that it would feel foreign.

2 RepliesEdited by Tigerpaws: 1/10/2024 6:07:26 PMThey can't even sort out the current game, let alone port the old one. Destiny 1 was an amazing game, but we've moved on.

6 RepliesEdited by ㅤ Avvor: 1/10/2024 4:13:57 PMthis would just not make enough money to justify it At this point apart from art design it’s just a few old weapons and one raid and d2 is near enough better in all aspects in comparison to d1

1 ReplyI would love for that to happen but Bungie won't do it. They don't want to split their already low numbers even more.
