Ritual Vendor Focusing Cost Reduction
We are reducing the focusing costs for ritual vendors in next week’s update.
All Crucible, Gambit, and Vanguard Ops Legacy focusing will cost 3 engrams.
The only exception is unobtained Legacy Nightfall Weapons will still cost 5 engrams. Previously obtained Legacy Nightfall Weapon focusing will cost 3 engrams.

It literally took the company being at risk for the community to get rapid communications and record fast changes with feedback from the developer. Better late than never, never late is better. Something like that. (Obviously not speaking to the author of this post. Im sorry that your leadership systematically dismantled your workplace, morale, and future at an otherwise brilliant company. It's awful to read about. I truly wish you all the best.)

Because focusing engrams is the only real thing players want to do. With a more than 99% rate of junk, why waste the engrams? I do not think you work through all of this before you implement. You could make everything cost one engram and zero other resources and the RNG would still make this a time waste. Yes, you might get that roll you have been wanting, but the odds are not in your favor. Figure something else out Bungie, this is not the thing that is going to save the game!

Or drop able from cashing them in? I've spent 50 n no world drop weapons from this last or the season before drop and I still have 99 engrams and nothing to spend them on. Oh, they are in the lost sectors, why not in the gunsmiths loot pool?

2 Repliesi thought that all engram drops were going to be increased to compensate for the cost to focus, but that was hogwash. Just do what you said you would do and have each ritual activity drop 2 or 3 engrams every time.

Good about time. Mentioned the cost was far too high when you initially voiced the changes. No idea how it got passed on the first place... But Bungie isn't known for making the right or smart decision the first time before massive backlash pushes you too as of late.

What about Non legacy weapons? Will they still cost 3 engrams while we still get the same amount of engrams as we did before the season of the wish?
