There is nothing more annoying then starting a vanguard strike and some speed freak is sword dashing. There are other places for this. Am I the only one who hates having to keep up with someone doing this in a low priority event?

Well, there's these posts, which are infinitely more annoying than someone using eager edge lmao.

I’ve never like speed runners but get 2 mates and you can do it at your speed, or if like me sometimes I need to do a bounty or quest for vanguard just change your date on your system in orbit and go in alone.

This one wouldn't even make my top twenty. 😂 One of the many things more annoying would be having your "teammate" repeatedly eager edge you off of things to your death in a Nightfall, t-bagging you, and then having to ride out a long respawn timer... Maybe skating is not as big of a deal on console but what's next, complaining about mobility making others faster than you. To each their own though, everyone has their own game related pet peeves. ☺

You're gonna appreciate these players turning a 20 minute strike into sub 10 minutes. Many of us are farming engrams and don't care for bounty kills.

If it's such a low priority activity as you say, then why is it an issue to you?

I can’t believe people still complain about this. When you enter a playlist that matches you with random people, you knowingly, and willingly subject yourself to anyone and everyone’s play-styles. Make your own fireteam if you’re not happy.

2 RepliesDon’t really care what you hate I’ll be honest. Unless you are a bottom 10% player the only reason you even touch strikes is to get the pinnacle.

4 RepliesWe have reached the pinnacle of the 21st century when people complain about getting rewards quicker.

1 ReplyEager Edge users talk big about how it's an efficient use of time, but neglect that skipping past 95% of the enemies means you get a much lower score, which in turn means much lower rep gains.

Do I find it annoying sometimes, yeah, I do. But by your own admission, it's a "low priority event" that a lot of players are looking to complete as quickly as possible in order to move on and run other activities. I realize this sounds elitist and unfair (check my stats, I wouldn't qualify as an "Elite" by most standards), but making your own fireteam would alleviate your troubles on this.

I just emote and move just enough to not get kicked. If they want to solo the strike, who am I to stop them ;)

2 RepliesBlame Bungie for not allowing players to run solo

Strikes in general always have been raids poor cousin when comes to bosses and lack of puzzle mechanics following lackluster rewards since vanilla destiny one wayback in 2014 on normal difficulty.

Just leave and try again. Anything you dislike about teammates? Leave and try again. Don't waste a second. Random matchmaking is random. You can get great people, or toxic people. Fortunately - you can always try again.
