It's far too rare, and random, for this event to show up. It could be hours, or days, before you get one to appear. You could be waiting around all day for it on Neomuna, only for it to show up twice at 2am or 5am when you're asleep. It should show up anywhere between 40 and 120 minutes, or simply every 3 hours.

I did one for the triumph (and even then, I was actively fighting the servers for that completion) and have never once looked back. I heard about the increased spawn rate of it and was excited for a moment despite having missed that day, then was told it was "fixed" after that and have proceeded to simply forget about that event altogether. Why have a public event that requires several people to get done be so rare just because it gives a random exotic guaranteed? Legend/Master lost sectors are a thing most endgame grinders will just go farm for exotics anyway and everyone else just want an exotic every now and then.

I always thought there should be some sort of “manual” trigger for it; if you want to do it over a lost sector to get a new exotic why not you know.

Cant belive this is not fixed.

18 RepliesUse the Vex Discord or Twitter, as they announce when they're occurring. I got all 3 new exotics in a row in 24 hours.
-
5 RepliesFrom what I've seen it seems to happen once an hour or so but the reason it doesn't is cause most people fail to realize that you gotta disrupt those Vex light pillars to cause the vex strike to happen.

I quite like the RNG tbh.

7 RepliesIt's the classic Bungie give/take system at work. People begged for a different way to obtain new exotics, and Bungie "listened", but you still have to put up with some BS for them. Always remember, Bungie never just gives...
-
5 RepliesYou can track it by following Asher mir on X (twitter). It will pretty much tell you when one is starting
-
2 RepliesI agree but also think there should be multiple planetary events that offer the same thing.
-
Join the discord channel for it i run it between 4 to 6 times a day.
-
1 ReplyAh, them old days when you had an app in D1 to track Warsat drops so you could progress the Sleeper quest
-
3 RepliesI don't think I've come across the event once since the dlc was released.

What's even more annoying is that it frequently spawns in the same zone as Override so the timer goes off but the event doesn't actually start since Override negates it.
-
Some days it only happens twice in quick succession, other days it happens like 10+ times.
-
It is, every 4 to 6 hours according to my clans discord

Everytime I see one coming, I fly in and its gone....I am starting to think this doesnt exist

2 Repliesthis is worse then waiting for the gatekeeper to enter the whisper on io i spend almost 4 hours today waiting on the vex mission, and at least 1 and a half hour yesterday on it did not show up then im worried not enough players will show up and we wont get it done in time...
-
Yeah. I came arcoss it by accident. After being gone for 2 seasons. Haven't seen it since.
-
5 RepliesYeah, I haven't seen one for literal weeks. Forget when the last one was. I participated and got a solid exotic, but it does need to come around more. I don't mind it being a more rare occurrence, but it really is kind of ridiculous how rare it is. If they want people to engage, they need to set realistic goals and timing for everything.

1 ReplySure, but then they'd remove the guaranteed new exotics from it.
