Yea yea- I know tposing glitches etc etc...
But its actually come a long way, I dove into 2077 and I -blam!- love it. The universe is so much deeper than I thought in my first surface level playthrough.
The interconnectivity of the characters and enemies in the game is something Games like Dark Souls and Elden Ring brought me to appreciate. Doing a gig to assassinate a drug kingpin and then later on I find out he's been corresponding with a fixer in another district that I've taken jobs from. Gives you a different perspective on the relationships of these characters. The fixer you are taking gigs for could very well be hired to have you killed very easily in the lore of game. Adding to the whole living as an "edgerunner" vibe.
Idk I thought it was cool and I hear they overhauled the entire game for Phantom Liberty so I'm really looking forward to it. 🤷♂️
Anyone else feel the same way?

Edited by Sumpig-2: 6/22/2023 8:30:14 AMIma wait before I buy it, not cause of bugs or stuff, but because I've already got three upcoming games to play first (ArmoredCore 6 and Remnant 2) and need to let my wallet breathe. (Third game is Lies of P, but my sister is buying that, I think...) I also still need to finish the base game, but I'm trying to do all the side quests first. Can't wait tho, it's a good game.
edit: oh... I scrolled into a 5 day old post I already read... 💀
4 RepliesSuper pumped. Played on PS5 and yeah, there were a few bugs, but I didn't run into anything game breaking and in fact had a lot of fun with it. I dare say I preferred CP2077 over Witcher III.

2 RepliesMe. Cyberpunk had the bones of a fantastic, Assassin’s Creed-like, open world RPG. It just had two problems. 1. It got pushed out the door a year too early, and CDPR likely got scammed by the people they outsourced the QA testing too. 2. Mission Creep. They tried to create a game that was a “real world” simulator. So the game became so complex and resource hungry that they couldn’t scale it back to run on last-Gen hardware. I throughly enjoyed playing it on Google Stadia (RIP). It was a PC quality experience, and the bugs didn’t really impact the play. Plus I found the controls and play mechanics more enjoyable than Witcher 3. But I think Phantom Liberty will avoid these issues. One, I think they learned their lesson in rushing games to market. The execs even got sued by their shareholders over it. Also, CDPR is dropping support for last Gen, so the console version of the game will be running on hardware that is up to the task this time. So I’m looking forwards to an experience that is a better representation of what CDPR devs intended.

1 ReplyCP2077 deserves another chance, at least on PC. This game wasn't meant to be played on consoles. I play this game on a 4090 and at times it has the most beautiful visuals I've ever seen in a game.

1 ReplyPre-ordered the other day, really looking forward to this. CDPR launched this game and it was a mess but they have turned it into a really great game. Got it on PS5 and it's worth the time to explore this world.
