Competitive playlist matches not registering
I played my 7 placement matches and then started my 3 matches hoping to get a roll on the new sniper. Won my first match and gained no rank points and was still at 0/3. Lost my next match, lost no rank, and was still at 0/3. Is this intended or did I just get screwed into playing 2 comp matches more than I needed to? This has happened in other activities before as well. I did not leave early, I made it to the stats screen before returning to orbit.
Edit: After further review this appears to be an issue with the "Meltdown" comp map. It causes no crucible rank (for elimination) or no comp rank (comp obviously) to be given and kill trackers get no progress for kills on this map. Interestingly enough I was getting crucible rank for comp matches played here, just not comp rank.

yeah it just happened to me i came to look if someone else had the same issue.. I played 2 placement matches which didn't count for me, I didn't even receive any rep as well it's kinda annoying.

Update: This has now happened to me after restarting my game and going immediately into a game and has also now happened in game types outside of just comp which I know as my kill trackers don't increment after some matches.

4 RepliesI'm stuck at 2/7 now. I played one and the game didn't register/count. Restarted the game and then played another. That one didn't count either. Highly frustrating and a waste of my time.

So my matches are being counted, but the sniper is simply not dropping for me.

I’ve played maybe 8 or 9 matches and it says I’ve played 5 and it also isn’t tracking any k/d from them

1 ReplyUpvoting for visibility. Same has been happening to me. Three matches completed, and only one has been registered as completed for my placement series. I did notice that I kept getting in-game pop-up notifications about stuff related to the Bungie Store, old Crucible tooltips, etc. I can't tell yet if that's directly related to the main issue, but I don't feel like playing more to test that out if this is the environment we have to play in right now.

I have the same problem, I had 5 victories but it only registers 1.

Also encountering this issue, happened 2 time during my placement series and so far 1/3 games completed counted for progress on getting the sniper. When the matches complete that didn’t count towards the progress it also did not add division rank points on wins or subtract on losses.

I've experienced the same thing. Restarting my game fixed the issue. It's happened at least twice now on two different characters. No points for wins, no games registered for progress for sniper. I've heard at least one other person running into this bug. The only workaround for me currently is to restart my game after every match just to make sure it counts.

Same exact issue, i think you have to restart after every activity for them to count, tried restarting and doing something else first, then played a game, nothing from the end
