Why NERF things to the ground why??
Its like 8 years of me playing this game and all i remember is rage due to bungie nerfing everthing i build to the ground.

20% to 2% on Starfire grenade regen on hits seems extreme. I guess they just didn’t want to make it a ornament so they had to kill it.

That is probably the reason you’ve been playing for 8 years. They nerf all the weapons you spent hours grinding for, so you put more hours in to attain the new best meta weapons, then they nerf those. Etc., etc., etc. Bungie isn’t incompetent. They know how to balance a sandbox. Creating these cycles drives engagement.

I just came to the forums to see if anyone else notice that Jade rabbit got quietly nerfed lol.. it takes me 4 shots now to get someone .. its normally a 3 tap

Edited by Crota’s Codpiece: 5/11/2023 4:23:57 PMIf there’s one thing I’ve learned in the years playing D1 & D2, it’s coming on to the forums and giving feedback means nothing. Unless a mass amount of people stop playing nothing will change, a new meta will be found and the cycle will continue.

They have to force players into different metas. How many players would run the same few pieces of gear or builds without change. This would lead to complaints or boredom less people chasing new gear thus avoiding playlists all together. It's a necessary evil every game does this metas shift all the time.

15 RepliesIt's pretty sad. Everything will get nerfed into the ground at some point, and it will be just like D1 water pistols/balloons again. My thought is if an exotic is "out-performing" all the others, let's find out why an the. Rework/buff the others to be a useful trade-off. Then again, you have streamers complaining and wanting everything nerfed into the ground so they can keep their cushy "Vidya" jobs. I don't watch streamers, they're all pretty lame. I will say that since streaming games has gotten big video games, feel less fun an more like work. Bungie should really stop listening to them, but unfortunately, they draw a crowd. Bungie needs those streamers and add revenue to keep the game hyped up and create FOMO till they nerf the next thing and then the cycle begins anew.
