Can't access my old account after buying new computer

I bought a new computer and I read downloaded destiny 2 and now it made me start over. It doesn't give me the option to sign in from my older account and I can't even sign out of this one now.

Changing computers wouldn't do anything concerning your save data. Your save data is stored on Bungie's servers and tied to the platform account that was used to create it. As long as you log in with that same platform account, your save data will be there. If your currently-signed-in platform account is not the one with your characters, then you'll need to log out of Bungie.net and then log in using the correct platform account where your characters were. Concerning your currently-linked platform accounts, please note that you do have over 100 hours of gameplay on your Xbox save data. If you want to access that Xbox save data when playing on Steam, you'll need to enable Cross-Save and select your Xbox save data as your active save data. You can set up Cross-Save here: https://www.bungie.net/CrossSave .
