Anyone else struggling with FPS Drops?
Since the launch of Lightfall, my fps have dropped quite a lot when playing. I used to be able to run at 165fps (which I kept locked), however, it's been lowered quite a bit & does go below 30 at times depending on the action on screen.
I know Nvidia recently put out a hotfix about the issue they caused on the previous Game Ready Driver about the CPU usage going up by 10-15% for some users & I installed that hotfix, however, it still feels the same.
My PC Specs are :
i9-9900K
Nvidia RTX 3080TI
32 GB Ram
Any help would be appreciated!

2 RepliesSo I do not know if you are watching something while playing, I am watching YouTube videos while play, I was able to fix it by simply changing the resolution of the video from Auto to 1080p. - The auto resolution said 720p but my game was acting like I had every thing I was doing at 4k. After I forced changed it, I am setting at 100fps now in game. - Hope this helps.

I thought it was just me, i am having issues getting about 80fps now. - I am running a Ryzen 7 5800X with a RTX 3070ti

I'm also having a similar issue especially on Neo. I've got 128gigs of ram a RTX 4090 and AMD Ryzen 9 5950x and the FPS is all over the place and sometimes drops to staggering levels. Sad

I'm getting the exact same issue - hopefully it'll get fixed soon as the game is unplayable at times.

Same behavior, same graphics card, different CPU. Had it happen mostly with Neomuna, a few times when people were using Strand in other places (the Mars battleground Nightfall and the EDZ seasonal activity) but not nearly as bad. Worst is the final phase of the Vex Incursion public event, after a few seconds (even if there's no strand involved) fps drops to 30 and fights to stay there. Seemingly like something is up with frames both with Neomuna and Strand, and is worst when the two are combined.

Console issue as well. Seemed strange that PS5 and Destiny updates happened then graphics issues. Before this no issues. Seeing graphics glitches on other games as well. I am leaning towards the OS venders not game venders on this one.

yeah it seems to happen with strand on neomuna for me, seems to be an issue. Glad I'm not the only one.

And I thought it was my 2060. It goes all the way to 30 during several events on Neptune
