From time to time I get this weird input lag where my controller will remain unresponsive, only for my character to take a 360 turn a second later. It goes away after several seconds. This only happens in Destiny 2. Never had this problem on ps4. Anyone else have this happen?

It's your controller homie. Ive been on PS5 since very early in the lifecycle and they DEFINITELY have some major controller issues. Many times the controller packaged with your system is trash. Either outright defective, or prone to early breakage and failure. Generally, the replacements are a good bit better, but they'll burn up in time as well. I've replaced 4 in about 2.5 years. The first two I had were outright trash. Btw "it only happens in Destiny" isn't really a valid test. GameStop will sometimes swap them out for you at no charge.

Edited by FataLVisioN_Oo: 2/9/2023 9:21:41 PMI had a similar issue last week where occasionally my character would act like someone tapped up twice. Would be doing a jumping puzzle and next thing ya know I'm looking at the sky 😂 Tried resetting the controller and that didn't fix anything. Switched the controller to wired/cleaned and blew into the thumbstick and I no longer have the issue. Unsure if it was just dirty or blue tooth related. (I clean my controller 2-3x a week as is so I personally don't think it was dirty but who knows)

I think it’s the Bluetooth connection getting interrupted, I never had it happen whilst playing wired but not a great sample size of playtime though tbf

2 RepliesHappens on series S too from time to time. Like there's a delay between my input & what happens on screen.

1 ReplyYou might need to reset your controller.

There is a little reset button on the bottom, you will need a tooth pick or something similar to press it, try other games or plugging it in to see if it's persistant
