Good morning,
I'm well aware of the ban appeal system so please do not spam this post telling me to submit a ban appeal. I'm simply making this post to save anyone else from being permanently banned. I watched a few YouTube videos from creators such as gmeiners and misleading who falsely state that AFK Farming is safe and that we should do it. It is NOT. I have not broken a single ToS besides AFK Farming, and I have been permanently banned. I have submitted an appeal and screenshots of me deleting the macros and promising to not do it again. Do NOT Afk farm, it is a bannable offense and it's not worth losing your account over. And no I did not cheat in PVE or PVP, look up my stats (BrinFrost#6128) before you accuse me of such a thing. I was banned for afk farming, that's it. Do not listen to these youtubers, it's not worth losing thousands of hours and years and god knows how much money. I'm hoping my appeal is heard and reduced to a few weeks/months as I think a permanent ban without warning for AFK Farming is a tad extreme. I have submitted an appeal and am waiting on a response swearing up and down to never afk farm again. I did the Kings Fall one where you throw fusion nades at thrall. I never AFK farmed in matchmade activities, ever. Only solo in Kings Fall, and the moon one in Season 18. This is just a warning and PSA for fellow Guardians looking into AFK farming. Don't. I lost 6,000 hours, roughly $500, special emblems from donating to the Bungie foundation, etc. because of it, while obvious cheaters run rampant throughout crucible ruining the PVP experience. I'm waiting for Bungie's reply to my appeal and am waiting to submit any further evidence they need to accept my appeal. I have no "suspicious" programs on my computer. I run Destiny 2, Opera GX for DIM and spotify, and Discord. As far as I'm aware none of those are bannable programs. Please be careful out there Guardians. I pray my appeal is heard and accepted, don't risk your account for a few levels. It's not worth it. I have done nothing but help and guide people through difficult content and I have received an immensely harsh punishment for afk farming a few levels here and there. Be safe Guardians. Please be kind to each other and do not post aggressive or rude comments. I am curious if Bungie will go after the YouTubers that make these videos that tell people to violate ToS. I think it would only be right for Bungie to make a statement to them and enforce the rules on them as well.

Why in the hell would you ever think you deserve a "warning"?? Lol this dude trying to justify being a cheat or a hack is slightly more noble because he does it solo.....lmao....
Bungie regards some behavior to be in breach of the Code of Conduct or the license agreement that governs Destiny, and therefore may be restricted or banned from some or all Destiny content or activities. This behavior includes, but is not limited to : Using an external program or device to automate gameplay or circumvent idle detection.
https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049517431 Also Bungie dont do bans that are less than permanent. they do restrictions for crucible/gambit that are 2 weeks/2 months but thats mostly due to connection issues
