It Took Me 782 Atheon Clears To Get Vex Mythoclast
The RNG in this game is out of hand at this point.

3 RepliesHate to say it but you put yourself through way too much. Vex is NOT farmable. It was obvious that the YouTubers who claimed that it is are full of -blam!- after my Raid Team did 30+ Atheon clears one Friday night. Keep in mind that all of us had it except 1 person. NO one got it. Do the math... 30 x 6 is 180. 180 "chances" for someone to get Vex. 5 people already having it means that it's in their possible loot pool = higher chances of getting a repeat drop. NO one got it. Legendary drops are farmable. Exotic drops are not. Same rumor was going around about the exotic sword from the Dungeon. We farmed that for hours on end. No drop. Exotics drop chances are 1 time a week per character. Don't do this to yourself!

1 ReplyI go it it on my second run and it took 49 runs for eyes(by then it was nerfed). Rng is bad in every activity which was intentionally done by bungie to spend more time in destiny 2

18 RepliesI am just as apt to hold Bungie to the fire when they deserve it, but this one is on you: Per the 4/14/2022 TWAB and I quote: "Oh, wait, you said you liked farming? We got you there too with the new rotator system. All lockouts on encounter rewards for Legendary gear are being removed, which means all Legendary drops in both raids and dungeons will be 100-percent farmable if you so choose. Throw on some lo-fi music, grab a cozy beverage, and farm to your heart’s content. Or don’t, the choice is yours (which is the point!). " Key words being "Legendary Gear" Vex is not included in that being an Exotic
