i would like to give some genuine feedback not just complain for the sake of it
1. The map is way to cluttered
2. why is zone B elevated with rocks around it with one narrow ramp and a sniper perch facing towards it that makes it way to hard to capture if you are on the opposite side
3. because there are so many rocks the game sometimes thinks you are in the air and you get the in air accuracy penalty
4. way way to many stairs so head glitching is constantly happening
5. its ugly too much green it hurts my eyes to look at it
6. the area between A and C is a mess you can snipe someone capturing A while you are capturing C
7. the map has no flow to it the paths feels very random
sorry bungie but i quit the match every time it comes up and i know im not the only one because most matches are 4v6 or 3v6 because A spawn is such a disadvantage
P.S. DO NOT USE DISJUNCTION FOR TRIALS! PLEASE ty.

1 ReplyGreat for Rift, bad for everything else. They need to change the zone locations in Control, you can camp snipe A and C from "the marsh" area stupidly easy. As respawning locations, A and C should be "strongholds" for players, not death traps. B should be located in the middle lane. Also, why is Dead Cliffs spawn trap in zone A still nof fixed after YEARS of player complaints? Remove the damn map for 6 vs 6 if you don't know how to fix it.

Guardian ForeverDestiny>Marathon - old
It was designed for Rift, not optimal for control -
I kinda like it.
-
1 ReplyIt's an amazing map. It's not a great map for Control. Not many maps are great Control maps.
-
I like it and would like to see more maps that size.
-
1 ReplyI like it. It’s different. I feel like it’s actually balanced. Allows for more varied array of weapons rather than just being on hand cannon, shotty range all the time

7 RepliesPvp players: we want a new map Bungi:gives PvP map The players: REMOVE IT FROM THE GAME WHY DID YOU ADD IT This community don’t know what it wants
-
It's ugly?
-
It also has two broken cheese spots which can be camped in after getting a single kill in survival and run out the timer. It's awful.

Edited by BOSSNONO254: 6/21/2022 2:15:23 PMThe map is how you would say very unusual with cuts and corners that distinguish it away from other PvP maps that we have now and from the past as well. I like the idea how Bungie attempted to make a map that will require players to play more versatile. But I’m afraid they failed to stick the landing when it came to certain areas within said map and the game modes that it is put in. This map is best for 6v6, rather than 3v3s, as the map is relatively large, and has too many hiding spots for players in a 3v3. With that being said, the zone areas are also a little unusual as well. I can see how Zone A can have an advantage over Zone C when it comes to snipers, or vise versa. Not to mention zone Bs odd spot where the layout is disproportionated to the point where you can fall from a misstep, head peak, or easily become compromised by an opposing guardian because lack of cover. I believe Zone B should have been held in the middle, with Zone C and Zone A being held within the initial spawn points or a bit further around where the rift points were held from “Iron Banana”. That way there is more cover fire for the latter and an equal advantage for the former when it comes to who caps what. I like the idea that Bungie tried to attempt to make a map that had many twists and turns, but I know it all comes down to opinion. Some players may like this map, whilst others do not. I enjoy this map when it comes down to control or another 6v6 game mode. But in a 3v3 such as elimination, you can count me out!

Best map in a LONG time. Probably best in the game. Snipers and Scouts are strong but don't have one lane they can mindlessly aim down thanks to the lanes breaking off diagonally and there's plenty of cover on the outer areas for close range weapons to close the distance with the underside passages allowing for surprise plays. The map has everything.
-
Each to their own I suppose; but I like it.

3 RepliesI enjoy it. It's good for larger, long range battles with mid to short peppered in. The topography is great. Different scenarios and engagements baked into the whole thing. It was made for scout rifle, sniper, pulse mains that felt pressured by HC. And I'd like to continue to see new maps be made. Everyone is entirely too negative but clearly very much obsessed with Destiny. All with conflicting ideas of what it should be.

i like it. it shows how predictable player patterns can be.
-
I like it.
-
Good for rift. Bad for control.
-
Agree. Too much crap in the way, there’s no good sight lines. Just bring back frontier.
-
I’m biased but as a scout main. I welcome it! Still, I miss equinox and won’t be happy till it returns, will forever remain my favorite, my second is midtown.

1 ReplyIt's funny how this community thinks. They cry for a new map and when they get it, they cry that it sucks. There really is no pleasing y'all...
-
It’s already in the 3v3 list, as you can get the map in comp. so it’s super possible unfortunately
-
I think they designed it more for Rift since they brought it out at the same time they brought that back.
-
“1. The map is way to cluttered“ This can be said about almost every map in D2. They do it on purpose, because they like when every map is a HC/ shotgun map.
-
Another note, bring back some more D1 maps. Some of the Mars PvP maps were some of the best maps to be offered in D1.
-
At least it's a new map on a new destination. Would you rather have nothing for even longer?
-
I sigh every time I see that map. I don’t like it either.
-
It’s frontier from D1 but worse.
