Constant centipede error code
I have been fine all week when I can’t grind. Today when I would like to play 6-8 hours I’m struck down from Atari land. ⛈

Not only that, but I still haven't been able to fully Utilize my artifice armor due to the extra slot not being there. Which they claimed to have fixed.

I had this problem yesterday but after an hour I was able to get in. I got kicked out again while doing psiops and my screen said that servers were at capacity for a moment then 5 minutes later I was able to login. Midwest US on Xbox at the time.

2 RepliesFirst off who is wondering about getting errors now maybe look at top of this page (total top not of the topic here) The game is currently not available. But i look for things like that most times at the bungie help twitter page its better in updates on time (https://twitter.com/BungieHelp/) ;) Did anyone else (maybe on pc) notice that the last hotfix did have negative effects on the perforamance? For me it is like lags and stuttering BUT with good fps. Maybe its smth that is caused by the same root of evil that dont let us play now :D

This error code oddly correlated to the same time that PlayStation added the PS+ Library thing to my homescreen and D2 having a PS+ symbol. I don't have any way to test if it is specifically a D2 problem or a PlayStation issue since the only other game I have with the symbol is Sniper Elite 4 which wouldn't be good for connection testing. Warframe, Fallout 76, and Battlefield(s) connected just fine and do not have the symbol. Edit: apparently the error code is a known issue and is being worked on, though the reason is still unknown.

For information on resolving this issue visit help.bungie.net and search for error code: centipede. Why do you always blame your server issues on my internet? Every other thing on do works wonderfully. i.e. online games, streaming movies, youtube. This was my only day off this week. It's terribly hot outside. I really was looking forward to the grind.

The message in 'Server and Update Status' read: * Destiny 2 background maintenance is scheduled to begin. No downtime is expected. * This will prepare us for Hotfix 4.1.0.3 releasing on June 14. The preparing for the hotfix begins and then there is a problem like:" Ups, there is a permanent lock on the database while we're installing it. The players are blocked. So let us completly take the server offline. No one will notice this." One hour later....

Apparently, it's a known issue and they are working on it. I'm not sure if it is a result of the maintenance work they did today or a coincidence.

Edited by PainCroissant: 6/13/2022 7:17:32 PMI have connection issues too, i am ussualy having sometimes problem with my wifi, since alot of people in the house are on it especialy kids so i usualy get this thingy blinking on my screen " conecting to destiny 2 servers" and then i was playing some crucible ranked, and people started geting DCs sundely until only me and 1 oponent was in whole match and then we got both kicked too and since then i am getting weasel.

I love the part where it says "check you network connection" and low key blames us. I have a 1000 up/1000 down Mb fiber connection and NO other issues with ANY game. It is never my connection. Ever.

I was just about to get some legendary shards and buy Snorri from Banshee, and then the centipede error code crawled by. (See what i did there?) All jokes aside, i hope Bungie fixes it soon otherwise i won't be able to get the Snorri anymore.
