In Search of Answers quest bug
I have not played since Forsaken but bought all the expansions today but i didn't get further then the 2nd quest in shadowkeep : In Search of Answers. When looking at youtube etc i can see that the mission says : Investigate the hive/nightmare relationship and under that: Phantasmal particles collected 0 out of 6.
Sometimes i get no progress what so ever and when i actually get to that later part it only says "investigate the hive/nightmare relationship and nothing about the Phantasmal particles. Any one know what the problem is?

1 ReplyI just wanted to bump this up, because I'm looking for the same answer. I can't find any help. I think this quest is bugged due to a permanent public event that takes place in the same area as In Search of Answers. As soon as I arrive in the area it wants me to investigate, the quest tracker dot then wants me to turn around and go back through the tunnel I came from and won't progress or update to the next step.

Same problem here--the Altars of Sorrow public event seems to interfere and prevent progress.

Can start the quest but I don’t collect any materials or if I do collect phantasmal fragments they don’t count towards progress on this quest. Have noticed other issues with quest completion status getting buggy and not finishing. Just bought all the expansions to come back to destiny and check things out, and this happens. Come on man….
