Buying game as a gift for someone else
After 2 days of searching I am resorting to the help forum. I have a friend on PS (I am on PC) for whom I want to buy the DLC material. Is there a way for me to upgrade his free account with a gift? Thank you

Buy them a gift card is the best you can do with PS I believe.

I don’t think PSN has the concept of gifting a game. Easiest thing to do would be to buy some PSN credit and give them to your friend to redeem and they can buy what they need.

Edited by Demon_XXVII: 5/3/2022 4:02:32 PMThe only way to purchase would be to buy PSN credit (via digital top up cards) or the physical top up cards (scratch cards) in supermarkets ets & then have him log into his PlayStation & manually input the codes that you send him Be aware - he can spend the credit anywhere So trust is a thing PlayStation stopped gifting a long while ago

2 RepliesPS4 player here. PSN doesn't support gifting unfortunately. The only way you'll be able to gift your friend the DLCs is to purchase them a gift card and give them the codes to add the credits to their account.
