Tell me why I received a warning threatening to ban me from matchmaking. My internet connection works fine and I've never had a an issue with any other game except this one with the constant sever issue. If you're going to penalize a loyal abiding player for issue that you're having, then you're going to start growing a large base of players quitting this game. DON'T SEND THIS TO ME AGAIN! I'm very serious about this, either stop being lazy and fix the server issues or do what Anthem did and shut down entirely.

1 ReplyEdited by Soupreem: 4/5/2022 7:27:48 AMYour connection sucks. Thing is Bungie is the only studio to my knowledge to ban people for having poor connection quality, so while it might look fine on your end in general, it isn't according to the people on the other end. And that's in general, not just D2.

Are you using wifi or Ethernet connection?
-
Upgrade your internet or stick to offline games

Maybe you have been reported a lot for lagging

That create an unfun play session for other players. To prevent your connection from effecting other players experience, they will temporarily ban you from playing pvp modes.

4 RepliesEdited by robert734625: 4/5/2022 4:22:04 AMThey sent that to you because you do have connection issues with D2. No other game has the requirements that are the same as D2. If you don't fix this problem you will get restricted from matchmaking activities because your connection is ruining the game for others. Restrictions up to 2 months continuous are in your future fellow guardian. There is nothing Bungie can do to fix your ISP/Connection problems. It is on us to test it, using the site I have provided for you and relay these test results here to the forum so we can rule out that it is a you problem.

If Bungie detects an unstable internet connection, you're getting that warning message. Being a "loyal player" doesn't exempt you from receiving that message.
