LET US TURN OFF HINTS
Hi, Bungie,
Could you PLEASE allow us to dismiss or turn off ALL the hints on the bottom of the screen? Not the hints that you turn off via the controller in the console or pc, but the blue hints that show up over the entire bottom of the screen. Every time I go to the Enclave now, I get the: "Select "Reshape" to upgrade the Enigma." hint across the bottom of the screen. I know about it. I know how to do it. I CAN'T do it right now because I need more materials. I want to be able to turn stuff off that I already know about and know how to do. It's really annoying trying to do other stuff in an area with this thing across the screen blocking some things and no way to remove it.

7 RepliesYeah really annoying. I also got a tutorial message during a puzzle in the campaign. And it didn't go away until I finished the entire mission and returned to orbit. :-/

I feel like you could keep tutorials for the normal campaign, but especially the legend campaign intended for seasoned veterans should not have basic tutorials.

4 RepliesMine is bugged as well. If I wanted to read I'd pick up a book. My armor is also bugged. All exotic armor is flashing in my inventory at all times. So there's some little things they are probably working on but those are small taters.

2 Replieswhile they were definitely annoying, especially with their awkward, and mostly ill-timed appearances, I didn't notice them on my other two characters. Was that just me or was that by design?

1 ReplyIt's at it's best when it covers your ammo bar DURING A -blam!- ENGAGEMENT 🤪 Do I have hvy? Who knows.. cos your STILL bolted to the bottom of the screen AFTER I've completed the (increasingly tedious) rune puzzles 🧐

This treating players like we are all new is extremely frustrating. I wanna play the game how I wanna play the game. These should be optional and easily turned off by the player. So many of us are seasoned players, and we do understand needing to explain new features. But we don’t need you to force us to do things we are not ready or want to do. Did you consider we might not be ready to upgrade a glave right now? Just maybe I don’t have all the materials, or want to at this point. Please BUNGIE fix this.

I think there was one time I completed the Attunement Progress or something on a weapon during a boss fight and that hint was just taking up the entire lower quarter of my screen. I would like to know if my grenade is charged but the UI is saying "NO... EXTRACT RESONANT ELEMENTS FROM OUR LAGGY LOADOUT SCREEN NOW".... I'm trying to kill a boss here.

The hints routinely bug out on me and don’t go away when I do what it’s telling me to. Really annoying

If they're gonna give us tutorials like this then they need to make the actions it tells you to do free, I can't do anything cause I need 12 enhancement cores and a buttload of neutral thingies!
