Game/Character UI/Menu Slow
Hi Bungie. I’ll be short. First, love the new campaign! Visuals are beautiful! For the issue, it appears there’s a slight delay in the menu/UI responsiveness on XBOX. I can’t speak for other platforms, but I suspect there may be a similar experience. For further information I am playing on XBOX Series X, with a 1 GB download and 40/50 MB per second upload speeds on a wired connection. Thx for your time and service.

Happening on PS4 also. I was about to delete the genre and do a fresh install until I saw loads of people commenting the same. Apparently it's a known issue.

1 ReplyI'm on Xbox One X and this is just another broken unfixed aspect of this game. This started with the 30th anniversary DLC. It makes menu access a complete joke and on par with a slideshow. Still isn't fixed by the Bungle Q&A team. And with Witch Queen drop, we have the "Black goes White" HDR mess to deal with too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78P1hvzho8o It isn't just in dark tunnels, it happens in the tower and at a distance, like the back of the Shop area behind Banshee-44. Good thing I'm not subject to seizures with bright flashes or I'd be constantly rolling around on the floor playing this game.

I’m on a recently built gaming PC and experiencing same thing since the drop of WQ. That being said, I tried it in PS5 and same thing. It also should be noted that performance issues and FPS drops have been a thing since the drop of Beyond Light which rendered it unplayable on my son’s PC (money well spent on deluxe edition for him). Apparently there was supposed to be a fix for these performance issues and frame drops but we haven’t seen anything yet.

Inspecting items at the tower has been abysmally slow for me since 30th anniversary. It’s odd though. It’ll spin forever on first view, but closing and re-inspecting, will cause the item to show up immediately.

4 RepliesI've notice quite a bit of a drop in FPS, I don't have a great PC but going down below 30 FPS is surprising for me, looks like its time for and upgrade.

My guess is its the inventory screen. All my stuff flashes like I havent inspected it or just got it. The screens without flashing do just fine.

Yep. Same here on PC. Feels like post 30th Anniversary launch, very slow character UI. Hope it gets fixed soon!

Frames seem to drop for all my clan and friends for the first 30-60 seconds of PvP matches too. They’re on assorted consoles but this is including new Gen but I assume this’ll clear up on its own soon.
