i know a lot of you are still hating on crow because when he was uldren he killed our beloved hunter vanguard
but who you should really be mad at is savathun
savathun infiltrated the dreaming city and used riven, who then corrupted uldren, who then shot cayde-6
if you want to keep despising crow, go ahead, but i expect you to keep that same energy when fighting the witch queen
and if you want to get even more technical, it’s actually oryx’s fault! oryx was the one who took riven in the first place, before savathun became the boss
3 RepliesCayde got himself killed. He’s one of the dumbest characters I’ve ever seen.

4 RepliesImagine Savathûn was the next Hunter Vanguard. :|

3 Replieshe's dead, move on.

1 Reply... or maybe the darkness only exists because the light exits... ...maybe agents of the dark only exist because guardians exist... maybe uldren was corrupted BECAUSE we bear the light??? .... so maybe we killed Cayde!! -- aaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!

6 RepliesEdited by HollowedWayfarer: 2/21/2022 5:36:53 AMLet’s be honest here, we all know Uldren would have killed a Guardian if he was ever given the chance. And at that moment, the chance was given to him on a silver platter: Lightless, critically injured Guardian with no weapon. She may have set the ball rolling, but Uldren was ultimately responsible for the killing of Cayde.

1 ReplyEdited by Emurinus: 2/23/2022 2:05:20 AMFrankly, I blame Cayde's death on himself. Only a moron would drop a large part of the prison on himself, knock us out in the ensuing wreckage, destroy comms in the process, and then pull his freaking ghost out in front of a bunch of dangerous enemies.

Jet Set WillyIt’s all going concording to plan 😂🤣 - old
I’ve always thought that Cayde pretty much killed himself by jumping into a situation he couldn’t handle. Instead of waiting a couple of minutes for backup from ‘the guardian’. -
2 RepliesCayde 1,2,3,4,5, or 6?

3 RepliesThey all played a part in this, though I admit Uldren was as much a victim as he was a murderer. Most believe Crow is innocent but I think he should still be held accountable for Uldren’s actions… and he has. He’s been slain by multiple of his fellow guardians, eaten by a meatball, taken, locked away from his people, and went through a whole campaign trying to free his sister only to learn that wasn’t his sister.

2 RepliesIf you want to blame anyone blame Cayde. You don't bring your ghost out like that. Anyone from the dark age can tell you that.

1 ReplyYou are all wrong but yet we all know the true killer.
Bungie The Strategist
6 RepliesEdited by Knight Raime: 2/21/2022 6:46:15 PMKind of aside from the topic body but seeing people talk about Uldren killing Cayde again has reminded me of that absolute banger of a meme where the body text was "when the guardian breaks a vow of long silence to clap your cheeks." Related to the topic itself I never had the conflict feeling wise with Crow. Uldren died. Crow is not Uldren even if they share a face. I know that's sort of the lesson we're supposed to learn over time with Crow but that's just how I felt from the get go. Perhaps i'm just too forgiving in my nature. 1 ReplyEdited by KingJamos: 2/21/2022 9:19:48 PMIt was actually my fault for not running top tree Dawnblade and zipping over to him in like 5 seconds. My bad. I don't like using that tree...

1 ReplySo… Savathiccc as new Hunter Vanguard?

3 RepliesCayde killed himself by trying to solo GM boss with pvp load out.

Savathun should get a medal and be made ruler of the galaxy.
-
5 RepliesNo Cayde killed Cayde. He underestimated the enemy

Actually, the person ultimately most responsible was Petra Venj. She knew what was going on, and left the Scorned Barons and Uldren in the care of Variks, who was bound by duty and honor to release them. Variks was placed in a bad situation and released them. Probably the right choice for him. Petra's deceit and refusal of trust led to the prisoners being higher value and Uldren running free when he should have been properly cared for.

and if you want to get even more technical, it’s actually oryx’s fault! oryx was the one who took riven in the first place, before savathun became the boss

But riven let herself be taken, so its rivens fault. BUT it's really mara's fault because she let riven survive the great hunt

Why are people still harpin on this. He's dead it's over we killed what we could. Move on!

5 RepliesI have long moved on from cayde, great character but he has been dead for multiple seasons. I like crow and think he will be a great hunter vanguard since he is probably the only one with a strong since of duty and wanting to serve. Even Mara manipulated him its great to see him stand on his own for once.

3 RepliesThis makes Savathûn the hero of the story.

1 Reply*beloved* I hated him, D1 he was fine , D2 he was a poorly written Deadpool knock off that tried too hard to be funny

The same Uldren who sent Guardians to their deaths for chuckles? You think Riven is the only reason he killed Cayde? Uldren deserved a bullet before we ever met him.
