This is a small theory, I might need more evidence and help from everyone who is experiencing this issue.
I thing the problem is cross save. If your email at Bungie.net is different from the one you have as the platform login Bungie will stop sending emails because the system thinks you don’t play or login anymore.
E.g. I use 123@gmail.com to login to Bungie.net. But I use 123@live.com to login to Xbox because my character and progress is on Xbox.
While digging through the email I use for my platform I found a bunch of Bungie’s emails, until the point cross save became a thing. I enabled cross save to use my character on Steam. After that I haven’t received a single email from Bungie to any of my emails.
If you have issues with not receiving emails. Verify your email linked to your platform. Let me know if you have Bungie’s emails there.

12 RepliesEvery single one of my linked accounts use email address #1 on their respective platforms. On my Bungie.net profile I entered a marketing email that is a completely different email address from the one I use on my platform accounts. And I receive Bungie marketing emails as well as the recent year in the review email. Bungie doesn't have access to your platform emails and when you log in it is a secured re-direct to the authentication servers so they don't know what you're typing in on their website either. So seems unlikely if they have no data on your platform email addresses that it would impact the email used on your Bungie profile. I'd say its more likely that many folks not receiving emails is having one of these issues: 1. They haven't verified the email address on Bungie.net 2. They haven't checked all the email authorizations to get Bungie marketing emails 3. They are using one of the email services such as iCloud which is known to block emails server-side from bungie.net 4. The emails are marked as spam and they aren't checking their junk folder Finally, there is a possibility that server-side something was reset on their bungie.net profile in regards to email authorizations. If you haven't received an email in awhile then I would suggest changing your email on bungie.net and going through the authorization/verification process again to see if you get the verification email. If you do, then going forward you should receive periodic emails to that new email address.
