WHY CAN OTHERS SKIP THE CUTSCENE FOR YOU
The hell is the point of even letting us skip the cutscene if you code in that the random jerks can skip it.

3 RepliesWho cares? If you’re playing for cutscenes instead of loot then prove it. Delete your vault and I’ll pm a link to cutscenes on YouTube.

don't even let the headache of this nonsense to affect you. Happened to me as well, and I had to run it a few times because there was always "that guy" who would run ahead too far, and then that "other guy" that skipped the cutscene. I just ended up watching it on the 'Tubes

-Better yet, what's the damn solution? -Where is the acknowledgement? -Where is the damn apology? -It only takes an, "I'm sorry". -It should be illegal this level of stupidity. (Better blame it on Sauvanthun's trickery). How about some official acknowledgement and guidance for the community? And finally, an offering as appeasement... [i]like the seasonal ship you all forgot about.[/i] I can't tell if the CM's suck for this company or if it's just the company itself. There is a tried and true playbook ( long-wriitten), on how to treat and continuely earn loyalty amongst your community. Bungie ignores it. I'm guessing, when you scew-uo so consistently- you'd [b]ALWAYS[/b] just be apologizing and making amends. There'd be little time left to fleece the less fortunate.

Funny thing, on Red Dead Online you can skip cutscenes but only if all players agreed. A very simple solution, and far less dump that the "go see on youtube" lame excuse

Next time, Bungie should make it so players who skip should be forced to sit through a black screen until the rest are finished with the cut-scene. And no awards or quest progression until all are present. Lol. Speed Runners can fill my goblet with their salty tears.

because it was a mistake or a over site that it was allowed to happen. I seriously doubt a Bungie developer sat there and planned this all out and codes it, with the goal being a random player could skip the cutscenes for the entire group and prevent anyone from being able to complete the seasonal quests. But if you want to believe Bungie did it on purpose, go right ahead. Just remember this the next time somebody doesn’t cut you any slack when you make a mistake.

My cutscene got skipped. So has my Witch Queen purchase. Not paying these clowns anymore.

They should have had two nodes for the mission. One with the cut scene (mandatory for the quest) and another node that skips the cutscene for repeat runners of the mission. Problem solved.

Idk what you mean, never experienced that. Usually Fireteam Leader has the ability to skip the cutscene. So if thats the case, id just reccomend you be fireteam leader if you dont want cutscenes to be skipped

Because Bungie thinks D2 is an MMO, It's not. In an actual MMO group activity, others cannot skip the cutscenes for you, they have to wait. Bungie hasn't figured that part out yet.

Very annoying. I did it last night on my first character, and the cut scene was skipped. Really wanted to see the bridge to the next part of the story.

Wanted to see & listen to cutscene, evidently someone skipped it for everybody else. Bungie opening themselves for more hate. That’s on you Bungie! Bad Bungie, BAD BUNGIE! @ least your consistent Bungie, you guys do a 100 things Right & a 100 things wrong!
