As someone who earned some of them I can understand people saying keep them exclusive but they are just ugly ornaments no one wears anyway. The old trials of the nine ornaments yeah fine keep them exclusive because we had to work for them just like the nine flawless emblem. I'd be pissed if people just got given that when I worked for it and still rock it to this day. But faction ones aren't that big of a deal and tbh I don't think many of us who played then even bothered to do the ornaments. Stuff from old trials of the nine keep exclusive for us who got them, noobs already have access to the base sets and weapons. Let us keep the flawless stuff and ships shaders and sparrows. Factions let us keep the ships shaders sparrows emblems and legendary ornaments since noobs have access to the weapons, armour, exotic ornaments. It's should have something to show off for being around for so long. Noobs get most of it but we get the stuff you had to work for. You can argue but that's not fair gatekeeping new players but that's how games work, if you weren't there tough luck. If everything is handed to new players what do ogs have to show? How will you know someone is an of player Vs a new player who just got the game? I still rock some faction shaders emblems, ships and armour ornaments from time to time. I run trials of the nine gear and emblems and shaders most of the time. The fact people can be wearing the same gear but mine looks different and I have an emblem they'll never get shows I was there when it happened. I'm sorry but you missed out. Same. This is the problem Bungie created in a time of FOMO. I missed out on a lot of stuff because I had to go on deployments in the Navy. I dont want to be given the ornaments, just an opportunity to earn them like everyone else did.
