Bungie, one of the most memorable weapons from D1 was NLB. A primary sniper which had a slower reload due to being bolt action to help balance it out. Since primary weapons have unlimited ammo now, some of its perks could be updated to match D2 better as mulligan wouldn’t be needed. Maybe something similar to archers tempo where each precision kill grants a faster reload for a short period of time. Anyone else wish No Land Beyond would make a return?
Edit: It sounds like people would rather it come back as a kinetic sniper/special ammo so as to not break pvp with infinite ammo. Maybe Bungie could revamp it a bit by giving it a lore unique perk other than mulligan to still keep it exotic as primary ammo was its exotic trait.

And universal remote, but they will just give it the fighting lion treatment

1 ReplyAll this NLB hype, but no Pocket Infinity hype… 😔

2 RepliesEdited by JleonG68: 9/17/2021 2:28:46 PMBe real, NLB was worthless in PvE. Only reason you want it back is for the "no flinch" shenanigans BS in PvP!

1 ReplyYou want a kinetic, infinite ammo primary sniper rifle with a literal no scope added into the game? It worked in D1 because the game was 30fps with a controller. How do you think thats gonna work on D2 with faster frames, mouse and keyboard and increased aim assist from mods or damage from perks or rifts?
-
between this and icebreaker i'll take NLB any day of the week
-
Slower reload Haha funny
-
3 RepliesLet's start by moving queen breaker to special

2 RepliesPlease stop. Go play D1. I’m not funding your erotic dreams.

2 RepliesNecrochasm anyone?

You realize it would be broken on mouse and keyboard right?

4 RepliesEdited by Zer0Warri0r: 9/16/2021 2:50:37 PMWhat would be the point? you want universal remote back in the game too? The point of those weapons is they were special weapons in the primary slot but now you have kinetic snipers and shotguns so bringing them back would be pointless. If you want to bring back snipers and shotguns with primary ammo, thats a really dumb thing to ask for imo. They just said they are working on special ammo econ in pvp and those two weapons would throw a giant wrench in that. Finally Devrim has it so its technically in the game.

6 RepliesEveryone thinking that NLB will break the game. When has a sniper in D2 ever broken the game? Looking at sniper archetypes, NLB will have to have low aim assist as a tradeoff for its low zoom, be a special weapon and have a new perk that will make it worth using.

Sure, bring back the most exploitable and borderline cheat-abused sniper in the game. Great idea.
-
3 RepliesAt this point they may as well return Ice Breaker exactas as it was in D1 They went back on the idea that nothing should have infinite ammo
-
Why? We have dead man's tale with the same feel just more shots
-
It would use green ammo in D2 though. Since D1 only had 2 types of guns. Primary special and heavy. D2 has more types. D2 has...kinetic...special...heavy....energy... stasis....primary.
-
Add it as a special weapon then sure why not.
-
8 RepliesHell. No. That would be the point where I would quit the game.
-
No more of that bs please. Lol
-
Please no. The the hate for Lorentz and Arbalest shows why No Land wouldn’t work - and it’s easier to use than them.

Bring back No Land Beyond
They probably will. If it becomes meta, that's because they planned it. Look at Vex Mythoclast. A seven year old gun in a seven year old activity. Meanwhile, I've heard some company is working on other newer projects and expanding offices. Gjallarhorn is also coming back. I have a feeling some new raid boss or dungeon probably gets killed by a special rocket launcher. Probably a rocket meta huh? Gotta buy it first though. Lmfao! Throw money at screen. Lol, 7 year old gun! Did I tell you some company are busy with other projects? No Land Beyond? Yeah, it won't surprise me if it becomes meta and deadly in PvP again. (Laughing on the floor!!!)

Every day we stray ever closer to Rise of Iron's PvP sandbox...
