There doesn't seem to be an ability to clear an input if you mistakenly put on in. The best you can do is play around with binding primary and secondary, but all other games that allow you to map keybinds also allow you to clear keybinds if you make a mistake.
With the Hammer titan bonking, I was able to map the charged/uncharged melee, but now I'd like to go back to auto melee, yet I can't clear it, since there's no option. Pressing Esc only exits the menu. Please add an option to clear keybinds.

1 ReplyEdited by Terr: 8/30/2021 3:08:37 PMA possible workaround is edit the keybind configuration file manually. (To be safe, while the game is closed.) You may be able to reach the file as %APPDATA%\Roaming\Bungie\DestinyPC\prefs\cvars.xml, where Windows should automatically replace the first %APPDATA% with something specific to your setup, like c:\users\myusername\AppData. I suspect that erasing a line will reset to defaults, but here's an example of something which explicitly has neither a primary nor a secondary button bound to it:
<cvar name="toggle_zoom" value="unused!unused" />
I borked my key bindings for melees as well... There's a prompt on the bottom of the screen to reset key bindings but it does absolutely nothing. :(
