ASCENDANT BALLAST 1 SEASONAL CHALLENGE SHATTERED REALM ASCENDANT ANCHORS BUG
The seasonal challenge requires the player to pickup 10 ascendant anchors within the shattered realm including those sealed behind the barriers. The bug is that the counter gets reset to a value of 1 when picking up a certain ascendant anchor (Namely the abandoned mill anchor which sits atop the water wheel). Unknown if this is player specific. However it resets the counter for the challenge back to 1. If you continue to collect the fragments the counter will increase(up to a maximum of 5 since we're certain we have not missed any) but never reach 10. For reference this has occurred to myself and two of my clan mates as well. Playing on Pc as well if that has to do with anything
EDIT: Clanmate reported that it was picked up as the 6th. A 4th clanmate has picked it up 2nd and is now stuck at a count of 9
Think this may mean that the mill anchor resets the counter no matter when it is picked up
Edit 2: to those who have have commented/bumped or both my thanks for helping bring this issue up and a biiiig F as well because its screwed our progression

And Bungie's fix and response is basically "stiff -blam!- if you can't complete the challenge this week and can't progress your Wayfinder to lvl4. Just wait until next week" What an absolute BS solution.

Im on Xbox, ive picked up most if not all in the ascendant realm and my progress is at 2. was able to grab all the EDZ ones but the Ascendant realm is definitely Bugged.

Yep happened to me as well watched a video to make sure didn't miss any found all 10 but stuck at 8/10 now

Happens to myself I was at seven then collected it and was reset to two.

Same issue. I have found all 10 for this week but my counter says only 6. This bug is soft locking us out of a triumph/challenge meant for this week which is really really unfortunate. Hopefully Bungie is aware and can give credit for what has already been actually found.

It is for sure just something in that mission that bugs it. I still got the "Collect 30" triumph but it didn't apply at all to the seasonal challenge.

same found 33 in total, 23 in EDZ and the 10 in Shatered realm but it reseted the counter for the Realm and it shows now 2/10 help bungie
