We want Strikes with NO Matchmaking
Tired of those rushers that go along the strike without killing. Only forward and dying in the end. How the hell I'm going to complete bounties??

I however hate strikes (when i did play) and am only doing those things because the game forces me to (like to get a weekly pinnacle) so i'm trying to get it over as fast as humanly possible.

Been wanting this for a long time, the option to turn off matchmaking for some pve activities. Strikes being chief among them along with a difficulty setting. Normal: no modifiers Heroic: weekly/daily modifiers Matchmaking: on/off Simple

3 RepliesWhy? So then non PvE players will be blocked from strikes as well? I sit on the app for hours and can’t find a team for even the Legend NF or the Raid. I can’t even find anyone to help get the Dead Mans Tale catalyst. This game is a joke now! D1 was easy to get on a team for anything or everyone is high and mighty and won’t let you on their team unless you’ve ran whatever a bunch of times or don’t have whatever load out. Pathetic I’m a year one player and have never even got one Adept anything. Yet in Comp I have to play against players almost every match running some Adept hc, Plug1, scout etc… that give them a huge advantage over players that don’t have any adept weapons. Players say they will help then don’t respond when you message them. I feel like they should either block Adept weapons from pvp or let everyone have them.

2 RepliesOr, make matchmaking options like any normal game have. Look at warframe, you have public, friends only, invite only and solo option so what's the reason for bungie not to add it after all this time?

Yeah I've been saying this for the past several years. It needs to be set up like destiny 1... We were able to replay old story missions and strikes solo. I think when you select a strike directly from the planet that it is on you it should be a solo and playlist strikes for matchmaking.

2 RepliesStrikes are only good for that pinnacle which becomes useless after a few weeks. They offer no special loot. Destiny 1 each strike had specific loot with the skeleton keys, I don’t understand why we don’t have that in this game. Is it apart of luke smith doing a bad job as director.

I just did a strike where one of the players sat there doing an emote at the beginning of every stage until it's sucked him in from join players then died at the end and just sat there just so they can collect the chest those people are absolute scum bags

If you want to sit back and clear adds for bounties, go for it, but if you're taking your good old time, expect to get pulled. Maybe go straight to a lost sector off spawn, or load into a 1310 nightfall. 🤷♂️ Most people are running strikes to complete their weekly pinnacle, farming for a strike exclusive weapon like Royal Entry, or trying to progress their clan XP. They don't have time to wait around for you to do your bounties, and I doubt Bungie is going to make a solo option just for that reason.

That would be fun even without wanting to do bounties. Just solo a strike, maybe get a cool shader or emblem from doing it flawlessly too.

This is definitely needed for multiple reasons. It's also weird that the first experience we have as Destiny players is playing the story solo, and later in the game, we can't play solo.
