Will Destiny 2 be able to run on the Steam Deck?

Steam deck is a new Valve 'mobile console' that is linux based and using proton, these two things mean that is basically a windows pc, but with proton; to my knowledge makes playing windows games with anti-cheat nigh impossible. However On the official site from Valve (link provided) if you go to the software tab, then scroll down to
"A new Steam operating system"
it is stated
"For Deck, we're vastly improving Proton's game compatibility and support for anti-cheat solutions by working directly with the vendors."
So my question is to Bungie. Will the Steam Deck allow playing Destiny 2, have yall been working with steam for this? Would very much like to know, as personally I play Destiny quite offten and when I go out of town an FPS is too hard to play over steam-link so this would very much help with me determining if I want one of these. I hope so. Destiny 2 is my all-time favorite game, but I ditched windows a couple years ago and Haven't been able to play it since. It's the only game in my library that doesn't work. I'd LOVE to hop back into the Destiny Universe!
