What's the easiest raid/dungeon?
Never done any of them in destiny 2; but I want those armor glows. So figured I'd ask the communities opinion.
EDIT: Update. Ran vog and the pit. Got lucky and had an awesome group of guys for both. Thanks for the suggestions and support everyone🙂

I’d say VoG is the easiest, DSC the second easiest, Last Wish with riven cheese the second hardest and GoS as the hardest. [spoiler]last wish is below GoS because Last Wish has vault, which feels like it takes 15 minutes to beat[/spoiler]

Spire of stars was probably the hardest when it first came out, double primary meta, then it became the easiest. One phase the boss was common, had to three phase it back during double primary meta.

1 ReplyVoG is easiest imo. I just played it last night and it was super easy with a good team who can explain things if you don't know. DSC is also pretty easy and my favourite from D2. As for dungeon I think PoH is... Shattered Throne is easy but it's annoying af.

Gos is pretty easy up to the final encounter. Even then it's easy if you know what to do, prophecy is really easy Raids, dsc---->vog---->gos---->lw (Don't kill me ranked just due to communication) Dungeon, prophecy--->pit--->other one

Vog is easiest by far imo, Deep Stone next Pit of Heresy may be the easier dungeon... they're all easy

DSC - easiest raid first timer can be done about 30-1 hour Pit - easiest if you have team and solo

Edited by Oryx's Slimy Worm: 7/10/2021 3:48:34 AMVoG and Prophecy. VoG is super easy, really only a couple people doing mechanics, everyone else just clears ads and does DPS. Atheon is only tricky part since its rng as to who is teleported, so gotta stay on your toes; don't feel scared to try doing the callouts, its super easy and kinda fun to do it. Prophecy is the same mechanic over and over, and the bosses are fairly easy. Just requires some communication. Literally just jump headfirst into the raids man, its scary at first but once you get a couple runs down it becomes second nature.

Just look for checkpoint posts in lfg. Watch some videos on how to beat the encounter helps too. I saw a post looking for 1 person who hasn't beaten vog, they were willing to teach. So I joined and they thought me what to do. Dungeons are similar but a bit easier, do the same for that. Even if you post in lfg that you're new to the activity and you'd like people to join to teach you, you'll get some great people who are willing to teach you. There are a lot of good patient people in the community willing to help if you reach out. All the best 😁

DSC and Pit are my vote. And as someone mentioned below, search LFG for boss checkpoints, and then LFG for someone to help get them done.

So figured I'd ask the communities opinion.[/quote] Go to the LFG section of this app. Search for : shattered throne or prophecy boss checkpoint. For the raid: Taniks boss checkpoint. Do only those being carried….with the right party you could have them done in half an hour. Skipping to the boss checkpoint it’s the key.

Edited by Olórin: 7/9/2021 9:06:15 PMIn PvP im a little bit more capable but in PvE im a super noob, Imho i would say Vault of Glass was pretty simple but thats because i was used to the Raid back in D1. Dungeon for me is either Pit of Heresy (pretty straight forward) or Prophecy (Can be tricky at first but its so easy after learning the encounters).

4 RepliesEdited by Hawpy: 7/9/2021 3:42:39 PMVoG and DSC are pretty much equal in terms of difficulty, VoG gives more rewards and the items are better overall, but DSC is a truly amazing experience on your first clear. Just stay away from GoS, every LFG team I've played with has said they hate it and I share the view completely. For Dungeons, I say that Pit of Heresy is the easiest by quite a distance. Prophecy is the hardest but. similar to DSC, it's worth trying to clear once just for the showpieces. As a side note, all of the Dungeons are definitely doable solo. It will push you to the limit of your abilities, but those emblems are so worth it!
