10 heavy kills in iron banner is a joke.
This need to be lowered. It’s near impossible to get heavy. I know people will say it’s easy blah blah.
But 10 kills is too much.

With a heavy.. equip a tracking rocket or a big mag MG, so while playing banner solo or in a fireteam take control of mid and wait for heavy, sure it can be repetitive sometimes you won’t get it but you will, and just like every destiny quest or activity you just have to grind it

I found the heavy kills mildly annoying. What was far more annoying was when I finished the quest, there’s no pinnacle reward for all the time spent.

The internet really is a safe place to be toxic and I honest to god don’t understand why😂 I’m just reading these comment and like....why 😂 this person has a point. 10 heavy kills is a task and a half in IB because of how pvp in destiny is but people like to tie their experience with others and assume what’s happening for them is happening for others which is weird and makes no sense at all 😂. I’m with you on this. that task is too much considering how much it spawns and the likely hood of collecting it before a grenade or a full team comes storming in for it is insane. Something more ideal like the guns that are most used in pvp or super kills or even grenade kills set at 30 would be far easier than hoping you can get heavy and then secure the kills with it. but you know , I like to think logically and not down someone because of the way the see things. I think first to understand and respond accordingly unlike the people that hawk this forum being evil for glory the can’t find irl 😂

11 RepliesWell I have gone through this thread and have some interesting information. Look up the ones that are saying "quit crying, it is easy" you will see that they all are sweaties. Most have a K/D well over a 1.0 with over a 50% win/loss ratio. These guys are the ones who live in their parents basement and can play 16-20 hours a day and have no life. I am a casual player who is average at the best of times. I have responsibilities outside of games (job, family, etc.) getting the requirements necessary for these quests are just about impossible with the current way that PvP is set up. The sweaties want CBMM because they don't want to wait to play with others that have the same skill they do. They just want to troll players who don't have the skills necessary to have a fair game. The casual players want SBMM so they can play in a fair lobby and advance to the point where they can get the requirements necessary to complete tasks. When I play PvP it is rarely any fun due to the sweaties. It needs to change or Destiny 2 will will die a slow lingering death. It is on life support now, which is to bad, as I love the story and the Co-Op aspect of the game.

The issue is most people don’t even cap zones so when heavy is up you’ve already been triple capped and are being hunted 🤷🏽♂️, Iron needs to either rotate game types or just be Clash IMO.

And some of us don't even care about completing the quest line of Iron Banner anymore. Last few season did not play pvp at all. Went in this season just see how bad it really is, 3 wins 3 losses 📉 most of them mercy 🥺 on both sides.

Just run in a stack and coordinate for heavy ammo, it’s not difficult.

It's absolutely a joke They should have made it much harder than the joke 10 kills it is now. Perhaps 100 heavy kills

Yeah they did this cancer awhile back then told everyone it wouldnt happen again. What do expect from a team so lazy they couldn’t even make a new emblem for this season, given up all hope of new armor or weapons. My bad thanks for yet another kinetic smg lol keep up the shit work.

Yeah. It's stupid. Good luck getting it in the first place when everyone is trying to get it. Either you are killed and someone else takes it, or you are killed immediately after before you have a chance to react.

Im a hunter I shotgun people. I don't remember the last time I camped heavy. Bungie how long ago did you do thee exact same thing. Titsn bubbles at heavy.

I was a bit sceptical about it, then I slapped on a wardcliff, used my super to claim heavy and waited for the right time to use it. Done in about 6 games. It is frustrating but it can be done with patience.

1 ReplyI struggled more with the SMG bit than the heavy. With a smg, you have to get in close range, others are rocking Felwinters so you're pretty much going to lose the fight. That and you need 20 kills.

Was so easy in d1 as well. Used to get 10 kill streaks with thunderlord
