Once statis is unlocked on one character unlock it on all, grind for it is redickulas
The grind is redickulas for statis, once its unlocked on one character it should be unlocked on all. The grind is just redickulas, I just dont have time between work and chemotherapy, to spend all my time grinding out statis

I didn't mind doing the initial quest line to get stasis, not looking forward to unlocking the grenades and aspects again though.

5 Repliesi'd rather have an auto complete button for campaign bullshit so i don't have to do it more than once. it took me a year to do shadowkeep on my warlock, and i STILL haven't done it on my titan. and after going through the annoying shit twice with stasis, i'm in no hurry to get it on my titan.

I think unlocking stasis through the campaign is fine, but unlocking the rest of the subclass (grenades, aspects, fragments) is absurd. Have that be account wide

IMO the only step that could’ve been skipped was for the grenade as every class has access to it. I’m somewhat ok with having to grind out the individual unique subclass aspects

Yeah it’s anoying but bungie has done for every other dlc and I can’t wait to find “they want players to play the game more blah blah”

I think there’s a good in between that exists. Make us play the campaign for the subclass itself, but then make it so we only have to go and earn the Aspects (the only part that is actually unique to the class). Fragments already transfer, but I think the grenades should as well. If they were different grenades then maybe they could justify re-earning them, but they are all the same. Also 2x and 3x progress on alternate characters like Solstice, please?

The grind is there to hide the fact that there isn't much content in this DLC.

There isn’t going to be a switch on the settings screen that says, “Skip half of the game because I don’t have time to do it.” No. You can do it with your complainy -blam!- self and grind it out, or quit. Your choice, but don’t come to the forums with 2 year old grammar and spelling and beg to bungie to ask if you can skip 1/3 of the new content in Beyond Light. Not trying to make fun, but get out. Now.

Well if it’s any help, for the quests that say to kill powerful enemies with stasis damage, finishers count... so that could speed things up a bit. I think personally that after completing the story on one character, there should be an option to skip it on additional characters... as well as any quests that unlock areas or activities. Subclasses are a bit different tho imo, but I wouldn’t complain if there were some option... unless each class (hunter warlock Titan) had a different storyline and set of quests... but, they’re the same here afaik so I say a skip for additional characters would be okay.

Meh. They will never just unlock it. Grind is there for the sole purpose of giving you something to do. I would just wish that there were differences for running each character through. One set of missions for Warlocks, then a different set for Hunter and then Titan. Just so it is not the exact same thing for each.

I agree. However, you have to do the Story Quests to unlock it. I would say, You have an Option to choose yes or no to have it auto complete and that's just it. You unlock Stasis base ability and no Fragments or anything. Those you still have to go acquire. Last, I do not approve of your spelling.

I disagree. Games are meant to be played, if there are multiple characters, it's ok to have to play through some things multiple times to unlock them on each character, i.e. the story is one of those things. As long as they don't do it for everything, which they don't, it's cool. I understand you don't have that much time now, but the game isn't going anywhere. When you get time, you can unlock the other characters.
